I agree with peterforpats and the others who think you should keep vaping to yourelf. I think of it like this. I wouldn't want a guy using Nicorette to come chomp it right in my face or someone using the patch to walk up to me and point at his patch and yell "HEY LOOK AT ME, I'M NOT SMOKING. I'M USING THIS PATCH. THE ONE RIGHT HERE. DO YOU SEE IT. AREN"T YOU PROUD OF ME?" This is what I equate people walking around vaping in groceries stores and Starbucks to. I think it makes you look like nicotine "junkies" and worst of all, pompous asses. My![]()
I'm going to go in there and keep repeating..
"We're all adults here"
"I'm taking my freedom back."

And people standing around in Starbucks drinking over-priced coffee demanding that others don't engage in harmless, lawful behavior that visually offends them aren't pompous ... caffiene junkies? Got it.![]()
no, you don't "got it". people standing in starbucks drinking over-priced coffee are called customers. why don't you trot off to some vape lounge and when someone comes and starts to smoke a cigarette you can tell them this is for vaping only. then they can tell you that they have every right to engage in a legal activity and who are you to try and stop them. starbucks doesn't want you to vape then be an adult and don't vape. or just not go there. or you hold off not vaping long enough to get your coffee. or you can talk to the company and try and get them to understand what vaping is and why it should be allowed. but they have a right to tell you not to vape in their stores-unless , of course , the whole world needs to let you do whatever you want to do when you want to do it.
I THINK what he is trying I say is that we need to open a vaping lounge with a Starbucks inside?
No no no... I get it. He is saying that we need to allow smokers in Starbucks because customers don't like hot dogs.
Yep. Now I get it.
why are people getting upset about Starbucks choosing to ban smoking and vaping near their stores? Its their business..
I'm sure many family friendly places would look into banning vaping around their facilities too. I'm sure there are many parents who don't want their kids vaping in the future or present regardless of how "safe" vaping is.
In-your-face vapers are simply accelerating the inevitable.
How many in-your-face vapers have you seen/encountered in public?
so vaping in places that don't allow it isn't making a "spectacle"? if it isn't an egocentric display of "i'll do what I want when I want" then what is it? you have the freedom to make love to your wife. you don't have the right to do it in burger king. you have the freedom to own a gun and shoot it. you don't have the right to do it in a crowded theater. if a private business doesn't want you to vape in their business why do you feel you have to do it anyway? don't you respect their rights? maybe it should just be about you. now I get it!
