Birdy,
Based on this (and it is true), a PT should not be left unattended and plugged into a USB port.

Well everybody, looks like my editing abilities have timed out (I think it's 3 days to edit a post). At least I was able to add the new size chart.

But don't let that stop you from adding tips or essential info for new users!
Mark had mentioned this maybe becoming a Sticky so let's keep adding them in the comments so folks can see them.

:) Thanks everyone! :)

I suggest you PM Smokey Joe with the link and ask him to change that. There must be a way. I know DonDaVape added to his explanation of E-Cigs over a couple of weeks.

My newest PT came with a printed warning label on the package warning against leaving it plugged in unattended. It also suggested taking the carto off.

True. I have 3 sitting here and they all have that label.

However, how many people never read those things or read it & immediately forget it? Obviously you and I read & remember, but the average person doesn't. :(

I think it might be a bit different since that was in the general forum and this is vendor specific... maybe when a big update to the lineup happens (like that mod they were talking about *crosses fingers*) I'll see if the powers that be will let me edit again.

I would love to keep adding to it though.

ya this definitely needs to be a sticky PLUS it really should go onto the V4L website itself!!!!!!!!!! I was looking for something like this when I was placing my 1st order and felt totally lost when placing it. very nice job Birdy!!!!!!!!

Thanks!

Another suggestion, accumulate your changes, cut and paste the old content into a new thread and add to it.

Maybe that's too simple!!! There may be a catch there somewhere.

Call it Rev. 1

I guess the only catch would be losing all the formatting.

...but I might do another version of it - if it winds up getting lost on page 100 of the V4L forum where it's not really doing anyone any good, maybe I can make it generic and post it over in the KR808D-1 subforum. I think I might have a better chance to be able to continue editing in a general area too.

Birdy, this is excellent!

You have employed some of the attributes that have been perceived as virtues in my illustrated guides, made it much more concise, created amazing photo illustrations*, and made it all your own. Thank goodness this didn't come along until after I won my Vapy Award.;) Well done!

* How did you find and/or create those photos? May I link to your post and use your three size battery photo illustration (with attribution of course) in an updated WWV guide I'm doing for another forum?

HA!
nah, I don't quote enough My Fair Lady to qualify as daboomvape anything.

I have often walked down this street before I could have danced all night in the rain in Spain.

– George Bernard Shaw, as translated into Musicalese by Lerner & Lowe

Oh why can't the [Birdy] learn to speak ... with greater respect for the West End and Broadway musical theatre?!:D

Thanks Don! If I've brought a bit of the boomboom to the KR8 neck of the woods, you can call me happy :)

I did them in Photoshop. And sure you can include it, that would be great.

It's a character fault of mine, I admit it. I guess could have peppered my post with prog rock lyrics but it probably would have been inscrutable. ;)
