Hangsen's tobaccos seem pretty clean to me (on this front). However, Hangsen's Vanilla smells like Diacetyl soup. There's no way I'm vaping without proof of ingredients.
I still have a 10mL bottle of this-never used. I do use other brands. I just tried Inawera Vanilla for pipe. It has the D in it (if it does not they can prove me wrong!) with an extra special perfume note.

...dangit I'm getting tired of this...I've been liking HS Vanilla and have been eye-balling their French Ice Cream...spose' there'e rat-poison:mad: in it too...

I'm not sure about their Vanilla, but their French Vanilla Ice Cream is heavy to me. If Acetoin or Acetyl Proprionyl is in there, I can't taste it as the flavor is masking it very well. At 10% it was unbearable, I simply couldn't take more than a 1-2 second pull. It may be a good mixer, but as a standalone, it's stout and it's rough. I'd be shooting for 1-3% max. In comparison, it's a heavier, deeper flavor than TFA's Sweet Cream (which I'm not a huge fan of).

When I ordered the 120ml bottle of FVIC, I figured it'd be along the lines of Capella's French Vanilla or similar, though it's definitely not.

I would like to know if your e-liquid/flavorings are free from Diacetyl, acetoin or acetylpropionyl. Please and thank you. I did post a question via PM but no reply.

We both remember reading (somewhere on the Hangsen site), that diacetyl was not used, and that acetyl propionyl was used instead...but that's just our memories.

Been wondering too, deadbeat, but didn't want to ask. Everybody else seems to know and. . . .

We are two married, groovy-cool ole hippie-soul-mate types, with one account. We agree on virtually everything that's important; we do all our DIYing together; and we both sound quite similar when 'communicating via monitor'...so we don't bother to say "he" or "she" very often.

What's this mean/stand for? ---> 2djinn (we don't speak 'text')

Peace-out :cool:

"Hi, I'm curious. I've been ordering flavors from your company for a while now and just noticed that some distinct flavors don't have the disclaimer "Diacetyl free" in it. I'm wondering how you plan on addressing this because of the potential health issues caused by this chemical? This is a well known issue and it could mean lawsuits and loss of customer base in the future."

I'm curious to see how they answer. Surely they've had enough time to either obtain the ingredient list from their raw material supplier and/or test the suspect flavours themselves, giving them the info they need to either discredit the Enthalpy test or advice customers that there is indeed Diacetyl in some of their flavours.

I'm curious as well. I will have to check their FB page to see if they reply. :)

We are updating the site and adding COA's(CERTIFICATE OF ANALYSIS) and MSDS (MATERIAL SAFTEY DATA SHEETS). This has nothing to do with the site saying "Diacetyl free" we are just moving the specific information over to the correct platform which is the COA. We have reached out to our vendors that supply us with the raw material to make the flavorings for an ingredient list. The FDA does not require suppliers to disclose specific ingredients if the material falls under the maximum requirements. For Diatcetyl it is 1% and none of our products exceed this or our vendors would have this on the COA's they send us. Please check back with the site for updates on the COA's.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but a COA that doesn't show diacetyl under 1% won't be much use as the FDA long term inhalation exposer limit is 5 ppb, or 0.0000005%

I'm curious to see if anyone has actually tested diacetyl levels in the vapor produced when using diacetyl-laden juice.

They are so full of poo! Yes, I will order up some diacetyl please! Notice how they say their flavorings has less than 1% now. What happened to diacetyl free flavorings!
