Does anyone know which company does vaping Zone get their private label flavors from? I have asked them a couple of times, only to get the run-around. I've heard some of their flavors contain harmful ingredients which they do not disclose.

The gourmet ones are from Baker flavors.

Thanks, what about VapingZone's super concentrates and other lines, do they disclose harmful ingredients like FA does? Haven't had any luck finding the info.
Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos test
Preliminary results of over 150 flavours tested showed 69% contained Diacetyl. This includes flavours from some vendors that claim Diacetyl Free. Go to 1:21:30 to listen

Is there a link to these preliminary results anywhere?
I have heard (and cannot find the original source) that some flavors from Bakers do contain Diacetyl.
'Can't believe noone has mentioned that VZs Gourmet line contains diacetyl in many of the flavors! (And now that we know VZ didn't disclose this important safety info when it's easy-to-find info - then the SC line from China is suspect, too). Flavors containing diacetyl & percentages as of 2010. Below is the response to my recent email asking for updated diacetyl info from Baker Flavors in Russia (source of the Gourmet line at VZ):
To update whole list of our flavors for diacetyl content we need to check all recipes of flavorings and it will take some time.
But we can give you an idea how to know what kind of flavoring can contain diacetyl.
Usually, diacetyl can be contained in milk-cream flavors, such as: "cream-liquor", "tiramisu", "cakes", "biscuit", "Irish cream" and so on.
Significant amount of diacetyl is containted in the next flavorings: "Milk", "Cheese", "Cheese Cake", "Butter" and so on.
I wonder if he will list specific flavours/companies that either did or didn't contain these ingredients?
I'm curious what is meant by flavors and vendors (haven't had a chance to listen to the interview yet) . Are we talking DIY flavoring and their manufacturers or ejuice flavors and ejuice companies? 150 ejuice flavors could have many common flavorings and the trouble could lie in a few very popular flavorings that can be weeded out. On the other hand, if over 2 out of 3 flavorings have diacetyl in them despite being marketed as not, then it is a much more serious issue.
I would listen to the entire broadcast, the info for FDA runs right along with the safety issues. Liquids from all over, even outside the US. Best if you just listen (I did). No mention of vendor names.
I would assume and hope so. It is the only way for vendors/flavoring manufacturers to take responsibility.I wonder if he will list specific flavours/companies that either did or didn't contain these ingredients?

umAs a consumer I'd obviously like to know but as a fan of science, I do hope he did his study double-blinded. As a science illiterate though, I don't know if it is okay to "unblind" double-blind studies for the purposes of a report afterwards.
um
unless I'm missing something you wouldn't do a double-blind study to test for levels of chemicals in a product; you'd just test a random sampling of the product.
Double-blind refers to studies in which neither the researcher nor the participants know who is getting the control and who is getting the experimental... Wouldn't apply in this context at all.
