Personally, I would go with something horrible that you dont want to smoke lest you be tempted to smoke them more and your E-Cig less. Before I realized I needed no smokes with my E-Cig, I was planning on a pack of Benson and Hedges Ultra Light 100s as my "wow, I sure wish I didn't need to smoke these annoying, horrible tasting pieces of..." emergency backup - something I would really hating smoking, you know. Might make it much easier to get off the smokes if you just really cant stand smoking them.

So instead of the Dunhill's, I should go for Marlboro Light 100 Menthols. (Seriously, I can't think of anything worse!). I see your point. Interestingly enough, B&H Lights were my first domestic brand, but the Ultra Lights (and any ultra light for that matter) tasted like chemicals!

I was a pack a day marlbro red smoker and I started out with 36 mg.

Despite what my father said, Camels and Marlbros would be basically the same. How have you done so far? Our goals may be different, but have you lowered you intake or was that even a goal? Right now I'm starting to think that 36 probably should have been the place to start.

looks like a higher burning unit will vap all the nic in on go with high volts...then the rest is just puffing...which is good. That is why most people do drip...to refresh the nic level each 4 or 5 puffs.

I had the same problem with The Patch. Seemed to dump all the nic into my system within the first 4 hours. Also gave me the trots. And grey, scaly skin on my upper arm (around the patch). I'm sure they've gotten better, since they're FDA approved...

it's crazy...the first hit you get from an analog is not from the burning end...it is from the tobacco in between warming up...you could stop right there...but we don't...we sit there just puffing smoke...with very little nic. Same can be be said for Mods over here in the e world...just takes a bit more juice is all.

Interesting on the analogs. I was also a pipe smoke (would like to get back to that) and I heard about some pipe system that didn't actually ignite the tobac, but heated it to the right level releasing all the flavour. As far as pipe smoking was for me, it was about flavour and the ritual. Nic levels didn't realy matter, as I never inhaled.

well at first I thought maybe I would drop down but i wasnt counting on it. I have been vaping for 3 months now and after the first month I dropped to 24 and then this month (last week actually) I dropped down to 18 but Im kinda rotating between 24 and 18 right now.

If you try a variable voltage mod like the Darwin or Provari and use a regular ohm atty or a HV aty like a 3.5 from Ikenvape, you do get a similar taste and TH like an analog, it is cooler and not hot, it does not burn up the juice right away, it lasts a long time.... or you can drip or use a Juice fed like the Reo Grand or Mini or the Ali'i and get the sames taste since you are using a
5v-7v and the vaping is stupendous, even like a pipe if you want. IMO
