First day with AFS, bit frustrating really emonty. I wish Lisa and Rob would look at creating a thread for new users of the AFS. Not everything is up to Imeo.

I found the info hours later to be very happy with the AFS, others would give up.

Yes, AFS is for advanced users my friend. Did you try dripping, just to get your flavors right and then after some tweaking, experimenting get that juice in the AFS. I learn everyday, new flavors, mixing, changing voltages, atties, carto's, AFS. I start to understand a little after 8 months of trying all kinds of different set-ups. Imeo is the Master, he gives us the greatest machine, but we have to learn driving it ;-)

Emonty this is why I DIY now only, and I am very pleased with DIY especially since there is no regulation with what eliquid Suppliers put in there Liquid mixes, you never know exaclty unless your DIY'ing

Here in the UK, we are in the process of setting up a Retailers Association and our customers can look forward to more open and regular testing and analysis in the future (although you are likely to see slight price rises as costs go up with these kinds of costs going forward).

As to the dropping nic levels:

1. Listen to your body.
2. If in doubt, ask the advice of your health practitioner.

None of us on these forums or selling these products are licensed to dispense medical advice whatsoever and are no substitute for the proper health bodies where appropriate. We're here to enjoy a less harmful and less smelly method of obtaining the nicotine we crave, we need to bear in mind that it is technically a poison and should be taken seriously.

Having said that, I reduced my nic suddenly from 18mg to 8mg and suffered no ill effects, however, my vaping frequency did go up, so the body seems to always try to maintain the level of nic it's comfortable with.

HoPeFuLLL,
I do state clearly on my AFS sales page that it is an advanced user device and I link to the main GG website where the setup information is.

I also state that all the support is done here and I provide a link to here.

This method of support made sense to Imeo as he knows more about his creations than anyone else, plus having the support of many other GG users who experience the same issues is the best resource we have.

Well said Emonty well said, Driving the Lamborgini takes experiance and you learn more and more each time around the track and get better and better everyday. I keep coming up with better mixes all the time and a new favorite every week it seems as well as making my AFS run better and better.

I'll be asking you more :) But I am not inexperienced.

Lisa, I understand :)

But this device is not for advanced users, they just need some simple info that is hard to find easily ATM. Go look for it :p

in fact I am trying to figure out a way to fill AFS without taking it apart by putting a small hose on the dripping tip and pressure filling it right through the atty, and think I have it done now. how about that one ???

Cool mwa!!!! But really, taking the cap off is soooooo easy :D

In regards to dropping nic levels and heart flutter.

Heart flutters happen. It happens a lot when people are coming off of stimulants of any kind. Coffee, Soda etc. It's always good to get checked out though, and rule out any underlying cause.

I have had them from time to time, and sometimes a heart just flutters. If it happens once, and its quick... it's not necessarily imminent doom... it could also be anxiety, dehydration, a number of things.

Now frequency and severity is another issue all together. If it seems to happen all too often for no good reason, especially if accompanied by shortness of breath, pallor, sweating, pain or any combination thereof... its time to get yer .... to the ER.

Is nicotine the culprit? Maybe, maybe not... Look at your environment and other facets of your lifestyle, and diet as well.

Back on topic:
Refilling this bad-daddy is way better than the old afs, I don't have any fear of pulling the atty out and draining residual juice.

I still manage to find a way to make a mess no matter what though. You can't out engineer stuipidity I guess.

Emonty,

I know when to refill by the gurgle sound my Atty & AFS makes when it is Low, Then simple put the Hose over top and squeeze the Liquid bottle a few times until AFS is full. No cap removal necessary ever until Atty is dead.!!!

With an attie ok, but not with a carto, as there will be no gurgling sound, but burned taste and then you are too late, the carto will have a burned wick/cloth and that will be the end of it.
