Yes you are correct Imeo,I agree with you 100% Also, In the early 90's in some states and places like Florida where i used to live for a while, 24k gold electroplating was a big thing due to car emblems, grills, rims golf clubs guns and many other things. I had my own shop in a mall in florida for a few years. It was a fasion thing back then but wore off a while after, i used to have everything from door handles and emblems on my car but if you did not nickle activate it right, or strip the chrome off right then it would fade in due time. This is one reason i would not get the GG done, besides the point like you said it would loose purpose, personally i love the finish and would not touch it.

Also MWA, Can you buy me a 24k solid gold GG if one is ever made buddy!!!? hehehe:D If not a fishing trip would due being i might be down to florida in a few weeks....:vapor:

If I make one I will keep it for me Keon. And I will come to your place some time so you could give it a try!!!

How much would cost a GG like this?

If it increases the cost, Im against it. While the GGTSAVS is quite possibly the best ecig I have ever used, its crazy expensive. After the pricing goes back to normal, just the core unit and AVS will be $300. This already is extremely high (in my opinion, its one of the biggest flaws of the unit - the upfront cost).

I do like the clear tank pics posted however, looks quite cool.

What would be really cool is if the atty casing was clear as well - it would be sweet if you could actually see the atty heating element glowing red as you vape...

littlewierdo,

how do you see this as an expensive unit, it cost less than 25 packs of Analogs and last a lifetime!! Plus saves your life from smoking, to me the $300.00 is cheap, I would personally pay $500.00 for a GGTS/AVS all day long, I think we have life very Grand at $158.00 for a GGTS & another $100 for an AVS or somewhere close. This is a very reasonable price for the Ferrari of all E-Cigs, and for those that can't afford it that's a shame they will have to use the Chevrolet but all of us in the GG family are very fortunate people that's for sure guy's

You could do it with silver bullion - expensive, but it would cost in the low hundreds rather than a few thousand that it would cost for solid gold (22k probably better, 24k too soft). I'm not sure how many ounces you would need, I imagine you would first have to create a solid cylindrical bar to mill out so you might need more than you actually use. Then melt the cuttings down to create the other parts. Isn't silver more conductive than gold too?

I wouldnt mention it if you wouldnt mention it first mwa my friend.

The work that this unit has as it is now is unbelieveable. I need at least 1 hour for every unit to clean it. I need 1/2 to assemble it and putting vaseline to all the threads including the o-rings. I need at least 1/2 hour to polish it. I need a whole day to machine one unit (I do only the tubes now). If I add the functions that it has and the time that I ate to think and design it then yes its a 500 dollars unit.
