I can't get the single pieces to twist completely without breaking. Of course, I only have .6x1 though, and my vice grips may very well be too heavy.
I've gotten a few new toys as of late, so have only tried a few times.

You guys never cease to amaze me. I was wondering if someone would be willing to make some of this for me if I sent them the ribbon? I'd try it myself, but I believe it's way above my skill levelKeep up the great work!
Master of Bassets...and not much else.

Do you have the 0.6 X 0.7 already?
If not I have plenty of ribbon, but it might be awhile due to my schedule.
If you don't mind waiting send me a PM with your address.

. I followed Xobe's advice and made a spread-out 3 wrap on 1/16th comes out to .4 or .5 ish (my meter has been giving me weird values), and it is incredible! Thanks xobe
), keep trying to counter twist with the drill and give it more tension than just hanging it, you might see better results. An easy method I found to chuck the three strands is to give the end a few twists, like a twist tie, and it should be very easy to get it to stay in there.interesting! no hemp here, but I may try that on my trident

that's your hemp swimming in there, gdeal. It really brings out the tangy lemoniness (as does the René); but misses the middle. The MM, of course, fills in the middle and bass end nicely.
