It's not the unattended children bit I have a problem with, but seriously, how will they enforce this? Do they even have circus's anymore?

The manager told they to put their mods away. Only took a couple minute to fill medium size restaurant up, but aren't we adults. Why be a donkey & pull that in the first place, do something stupid till ur told not to like an immature kid. That's not what's going to ruin it. What's going to ruin it is the manager of said restaurant not willing to do their job and tell the 30 cloud chasers to stop or leave, instead opting to lobby for a law because they're worried if they say something they'll lose business but if they can blame it on the government they won't. Problem is the smoking ban already showed that they'll lose business no matter who enacts the ban.

I'm not saying 30 cloud chasers showing up uninvited to fog up a place is a smart thing to do. But that is not what causes bans. People running to the government instead of talking is what causes bans.

Ummm the sign on the door that states no vaping. In my state, it is against the law. I am sorry I do not know the laws in every 50- state. I am assuming similar laws. My point was what I wrote. I did not stutter. I may have misspelled a word or two.
Okay you got me. It should be hasn't been around. I did not type the 't. A client walked into my office. Yes. I am absolutely sure since vaping started around 2006? I'll give you year 2000. 30 years from then in 2030. Last I checked this is 2014.
From your links.... Most (see I do it too) of the studies all follow with this.
"More research is needed to evaluate health consequences of secondhand exposure to nicotine, especially among vulnerable populations, including children, pregnant women, and people with cardiovascular conditions. "
im guessing cincy is Cincinnati and i go to Columbus every 2 months to visit my sister and i've vaped in every building i went to there never had anything said to me nor have i seen signs? are you sure this no vaping law isnt just a city ordinance? just want to know for future reference dont wanna vape and get a fine
Yes. Cincy is Cincinnati. I am actually in between Cincinnati and Dayton up 75. I was up in Columbus last year and vaped all the way to the entrance of The Horseshoe.
It is not a vaping law. It is the smoking law passed in 2006 or 2007. Yes I know the difference between vaping and smoking. It seems the governments are hellbent on making vaping and smoking synonymous. Since that may the case, I can see businesses trying to protect themselves. Especially if the government (state) decides to go back and fine for any infractions previously sent to them.
Say the business had 10 infractions. Government says okay you had reasonable knowledge that this is what it would be. We will fine you because of that. Add up those fines... After 5 infractions it is 2500 a pop. That isn't chump change to a small business.
From my experiences, you will not be fined if the owner asks you to stop and you do. Vaping is in limbo. You have the far sides bickering at each other. One side that thinks they can vape anywhere and anyhow they please and doesn't care about their fellow citizenry. Then you have the other side who wants to demonize anything, more or less book burners. Then you have the minority vocals like me. I vape because it is a healthier alternative to smoking. I hated being demonized because I smoked. I hate being demonized because I vape.
Until the politicians tend to their own skeletons in the closet, they need to stay the heck out of my closet.
If you go into an establishment ask them if it is okay to vape. It is only common courtesy. If they say, no. You can then make a choice to go somewhere else.
Why in the world would I need to talk to anyone to receive simple respect for my personal space?
Is that chilis ban government or their preference, even though they threw in a "fine"
I remember back in the Day, when I Smoked Cigarettes, when it was No Big Deal to have a Meal in a Restaurants and Not Smoke a Cigarette until I was done.
I didn't Boycott Restaurants if I couldn't Smoke Inside of them. And neither did Any of My Friends. Or Anyone I knew for that Matter.
My, How Things have Changed.
...
I have been out to eat very few times since the smoking ban. ...
You Stopped going Out to Dinner because you Couldn't Smoke in a Restaurant?
Man, that Must kinda Suck.
