I want to just say, I am not a Provari owner and don't own any of the knock-off type's at all. My vape gear consists of a VMod XL and a couple of Joyetech 18650/18350 devices. Please don't knock them as they are what works for me and has for almost 2 years now. This is just an opinion of mine and every now and then voice it.... Sorry in advance....
Certainly we all realize, (knowing if we did the research correctly), the Provari is not a device without flaws..... There are some posts out there that prove that. I think the general idea here is the problems with "Provari vs. (insert device name here)", is the number of failure's between the two aren't even in the same ballpark. You obviously are very active here on the forum and must have an idea, (judging by your post count), what the failure rate is. It's all in black and white and there is no escaping it. Just look in the Vamo thread sometime. It seems every other thread is about a failure. Look back at the V and ZMax threads. Failure after failure, and the best rationale was "The vendor told me to send it in for a replacement" or "If it fails I will just send it back and they will replace it"!!!! Either way you look at it, it spells failure!!!! What about the failure's after the 3 or 6 month warranty? I think what "I" have gathered most of the failure posts were they finally broke down and bought a Provari because of the extended warranty or the fact is only costs a few bucks to have the manufacturer fix their device. There are 2 things generally that sum up what the Provari is, quality and consistency. All this talk about VV vs. VW is all bs..... You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out what setup to put on top of the device to vape at your desired wattage. There is massive amounts of information out there to get you started, if someone just took the time to research it. Too many people are easily influenced by others today and then when it doesn't work for them they wonder why? It's because we are all different and not everything is the same for each other. Provari has obviously proven you don't need all the extra buttons to be an effective piece of vaping gear.... Sure, the Vamo and the ZMax work for you and maybe you are the exception, but why knock the people that use, love, and praise the Provari for what it is to them? "My" feeling is that a lot of people are envious of the Provari users because they can't either, afford or justify the cost of one. So they justify it by saying i can buy multiple, (insert device name here), devices for the cost of a Provari.... I'm envious of the guy next door driving the Ferrari, but I know I can't afford it, but certainly not going to tell him he wasted his money when he could've bought multiple knock off sports cars!!!! Regardless of what the justification is, be ready to be set up for failure.... I have done the research on all these devices here on the forum and what I have read is the reason I don't own any of them at all..... I have learned how to set up my gear to vape at the desired voltage or wattage I enjoy on a daily basis, and most importantly, is what keeps me off analogs today.....
