Are these going to be back in stock soon? Its the only thing holding back from buying my first reo grand.. I want to buy both at the same time and not waste my money on any of the other bottom feeder atomizers.

Just click on the "notify me" tab and you'll get an e-mail when they are back in stock. It normally doesn't take long for them to be added as long as Rob has everything he needs in his shop.

I got the first build of my new RM2 done last night. First, I must commend Rob on a nice sturdy RBA. Waaaayyy different than the first one, very nice. The details were covered in this thing.

This is going to take a little fiddling to get right for me as I've never had such low profile posts and air hole placement. I love that Rob took the time to make those characteristics right in my opinion. I guess I'm used to the other ones that have the high posts and air hole that were more forgiving and a lot less tunable. I have to get used to the small details that will change the performance of this rba in an instant. I can't believe how adjusting the coil up, down, left and right in the smallest amount effected the result so much. Anywhere I put it changed the vape.

Last night I was wondering why the TH was unvapable so I looked down the DT hole and realized how low the air hole was and even though I had thought that my coil was pretty low I had the coil over the hole! OUCH

Anyway, I'll play with it to get it where I like it. What matters is that this has the potential and the ability to be great for everyone because of the adjustments that you can make. In the few coils I made last night and today I can tell I'm getting close. I do know that this thing throws out some clouds!!

Nice work on the quality and attention to detail on this one Rob!

SXD I know you've done a couple vids on building these and I've watched them. I plan on re-watching tonight and pay attention to placement this time:facepalm:

Do you have any wisdom on coil position and what adjustments to what?

I think Karen had a post about it that I need to reread...it was something like if the coil is closer to the air hole then you get more TH, farther away more flavor...ect.

Yes, I did say that! I learned it here from many posts! I am still working on setting my coils where they need to be for me. I like flavor more than TH!

Yes. I. Do.
For starters, here's where I place my coil in plan view. (Looking straight down) its centered on the juice hole and parallel to the posts.

Vertically, I run it low for less TH. it's is about 1mm off the deck on the side away from the juice hole and gently sloped up to about 2mm above the deck on the juice hole side.
Like this:

That is a 30 ga coil. As pdib shared: high in relation to the airhole = more TH.
Low = low TH.
