lol I am working on a new mod let me just say you will like it . There wont be any pictures or details until its just about ready to ship . With all the cloning going on I have to be this way .

Unlike you ill informed flatlanders I not only know what the new mod will be, I know all of the intricate details; dimensions, construction materials, price point, initial availability and most importantly... type/types and/or modes of electrical current application and/or regulation.

Although Rob's announcement comes as a complete surprise to the Reonut family there is at least one person who was made privy to said plans when he was tutored on how to remove the positive post from an ERA.

I am not at liberty to reveal this person's identity but suffice it to say that just as he never shared the super-duper secret of the ERA the same holds true of the super-duper new mod.

Try as you might, enhanced interrogations techniques, wood slivers under the fingernails, phonebooks alongside the head, water boarding or even tempted by a plethora of beautiful, scantily clad, sexually aroused women... (Okay, that'll work)... but other than that the secret will never see the light of day!

PREPARE FOR THE BEST vaping SUMMER YOU'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!

ok, I'll bite. Why would you need to remove the positive post from an ERA? I'm guessing you were swapping a BF for a TF?

I think it was because the post insulator got fried. I have one ERA that I torched the coil, with a chef's torch, while coil attached, that melted the insulator a bit. Mine didn't melt enough to cause a short but only overflows the hole a bit.

Jack will correct me if I'm wrong about his.

No more torching attached coil on any RBA; only dry burning.

I'm vaping off a chalice on a grando as I read and write this and it is an incomparable vape. I saw where someone posted that they just emailed mark bugs site and they are sending him one? I emailed about a week prior requesting to purchase one and got an email from Drago at Mark Bugs stating they were out of them and that I had to subscribe to the news letter to be informed when chalices would be available again. So don't get your hopes up.

I am a noob to vaping and nearly virginal with RBAs, my only prior RBA was a hornet. I loved it until I got and understood the chalice. Now it would be like comparing the first girl you ever kissed to the woman you married (unless you married the first girl you ever kissed) it is that good - in a league of its own?

I lucked out to get it, but I did have to trade my beloved first REO for it. Thank god Rob still makes REOs.

I'm after one, but I fear it will be a long and tiresome journey!

So do you RBA folks make your coils as needed or do you stock pile a supply for future use?

Im thinking instead of the current screw down posts a easier hinged lock in place clamp.....then a self coiling device to be able to set at any Ω. Just wait till Im healthy enough to get to my work bench.....I'll make millions...millions I tell you! Muhhaaaaaaaa

I don't own the Chalice and after owning my ERA's, Hornet and Surface RBA's just can't seem to justify paying as much for an RBA as most of my Reo's cost just my 2 cents:)

Peitro, I here ya man. I thought exactly the same thing. Its just another atty. i dont need it. As I read the posts, especially ones by Tim and Hildicat I said I need to try this thing that is so exceptionally praised, even by those with hornets.

I couldn't buy one because, you know, the little problem of it being sold out.

I then was able to do a swap for one. Awesome I thought.

Then I got it and struggled to coil it. Then when I got it coiled, there was a pungent flavor of the other guys (guessing tobacco) flavored juice. That was a deal breaker. I boiled it, soaked it in alcohol -still the potpourri taste. So I put it away, was considering selling it, went back to my hornet and was happy. But I kept thinking about it, so I removed the coil, the little screws and boiled it in water and dawn. Soaked it overnight in water. Rinsed it. Made a decent coil...

Vaped, vaped some more....vaped like hell. Couldn't stop. Old flavor gone, nothing but pure bright, warm bland unflavored nic pumping out of it. Copious consistent clouds of it.

Here is what I find to be the game changer between it and, say, a hornet:

As I vaped in the hornet, I found that the vape would lose its appeal as the hornet heated up. Exactly the opposite with the chalice. It doesn't heat up! Rather, each pull gets better than the last. Very hard to explain unless you have experienced it. Kinda like a power band on a two stroke dirtbike... Unless you have felt the hit, there is no way to prepare someone for it, you just hope they don't panic freeze the first time it hits!

So screw build quality, hornet is built like a champ too, and im used to REOs (cant get a finer craft than that) To hell with the screw off cap with no Orings, I was perfectly content taking mine off mi hornet.

Yeah, yeah yeah, the hornet was a little easy to flood with my ham fists, but so were cartos.

All things aside, it is a higher level of vape, very consistent, predictable and enjoyable. Those things can't be quantified with technical specs.

I would highly recommend that if you can get one, you do. They are the perfect heater for our mighty REOs. Hard to explain but in words but the difference in vape is HUGE.

Ditto. I loved my Chalice, it was at the time I got it TOTALLY worth the cost/wait, but these days there are so many more affordable RBA's that work just as well (although perhaps not as pretty) that it was a no-brainer to swap mine for what's become my primary vape, a copper-vein 18490 REO Mini. If I had 5 more Chalices, I'd do the same - trade 'em for 5 more REOs.

'Tis a smart man who trades a Chalice for a 14890 Mini, a smart man indeed. One might go as far as to declare that it is an exceptionally intelligent man, a visionary, as it were, to orchestrate such a trade. Kudos to you sir, and all others who follow your trailblazing example!

BTW... how does Pluid taste/smell like tobacco juices? :D
