My Flavor Guru gave me a gift today. Tobacco Absolute from Mysore Leaf made over 10 years ago.
Am super excited about this. And would like to share the taste with any of you traveling here. For free.
Dont ask why I dont know. If I find anything super special. Just love sharing it. It multiplies the joy.
This was made close to 10 years ago. Some PG was added to it to prevent it from spoiling. And it was frozen.
Its like thick Tar. I took a pin dipped it into the mix and put it to my tounge. About 1/10th of a drop if I had to hazard a guess.
And it tasted really really bitter. And it felt like a 4 MG nic gum. Which is what it takes to trigger my nic based hiccups.
I then filled a Wiz Labs empty 8ml glass bottle with thick pure Palm VG (Sweet thick gooey VG). This stuff wont absorb any flavor. Without adding some PG.
The drop remained suspended in the VG for a day. I then nuked it for 4 seconds at 950 watts shook. And the liquid turned dark brown almost black.
From this bottle I then extract 1 drop at a time to give any DIY flavor Im smoking a super Tobacco Flavor. So you can imagine just how strong this stuff is.
It tastes like a well cured wine or whiskey.
Only got 100 Grams. And refuse to sell this. This is something to be shared with love to fellow vapers.
Right now Im vaping 30% Black Honey Tobacco, 30% RY4D 30% Hangsen Indian Tobacco. 0.5% Type-M. And 9% TFA Cuban Cigar. With a drop of this Absolute. That one drop just changed everything.
The effect is better than any attempt I have made with WTA or NET.
This one little bottle of Magic has taught me to such. Id like to share my insights from working with it.
Good flavors take time. Just like wine, just like whiskey, just like cheese. There is something about time and flavors that can not be rushed.
(Tip. Start stashing your fav flavors like wine. With a date on it. Im not sure how long you can store flavors. But a year or two should give you a very rewarding exp.). I do not mix Nicotine with my flavours. Nicotine is only added at the very last minute just before its going to be used.
Try and find matured flavors. When I contact a flavor company. The first thing I go for is not their latest flavors. I go after their old stock. Im always on the prowl. For their oldest flavors. Time ripens flavors. The older the flavor concentrate your working with. The better you juice states. The less time it takes to steep.
This Tobacco Absolute is the only flavor where I find that zero steeping is required. Even at pin head qty. Even with pure VG. All you need to do is warm the VG. And give it a shake. But Im going to try steep a bottle or two just to see what happens.
He wont tell me the process he used to extract this absolute but I will get it from him. And share it with you guys. Its nothing new or fancy. Just your regular stuff any fancy flavor comapny would use i.e. CO2 or dissolving in something.
The best part about this is that it has solved my craving. I am working with him about extracting absolute from various leafs i.e. Mysore, Andhra, Orissa. They all work the same. But none of the fresh ones have the richness of this ones taste.
The label says Tobacco Absolute. Its thick like Tar so I assume that is what it is.
One of the most bitter tasting things I have tasted in my life.
So if your heading to my neck of the woods PM me and your welcome to a tank full of this stuff. Ive sworn not to sell it and only share it with love with fellow vapers. I cant ship it so please dont ask. And I took every last drop the old guy had.
I know Im going to regret making this silly post in a few weeks. But Im just so excited that I had to share it with you guys.
If I had to compare this to the samples of Bulgarian and Rustica Absolute I got from the USA. Id have to say that the USA stuff seems diluted to 0.1%. i.e. I need to add 10 ML of that stuff to get the effect I get from a pin head of this stuff.
