    No you can't
Can anyone tell me if such thin gauge wires are scetchy if im gonna push this thing hard? As j mentiones b4 I thought all wire should be 20awg, not just battery and 510. Any thoughts?

You could email the vendor and ask them what gauge wire is being used in the device.

    Found this Minimum size

It is important to use appropriately sized wire when using the dna. Too small wire will not perform well, and significantly undersized wire can burn out. High temperature insulation is preferred.

Ok, so after 4 hours w this thing I have to say its pretty decent! Couple quirks but nothing sticking out as a return immediately feeling.

    Heres the deal...

    * reads attys as acurate if not more then the vv3 and mvp2 I have with me. (Dont have and ohm tester with me)
Comes out of sleep and fires as soon as I push the button.

*** when I fire it hits voltage required for my nautilus mini (1.8ohms) accurately according to ohms law.
One quirk being if I fire, then stop and fire right away again then it will start on lower voltage (by .4 or .5 volts) and then correct itself or muster the power to go back where it should.
For example.. its putting out 4.7v if I fire then release and fire again it wil say 4.2v for half a second then go right back to 4.7.. could be battery related and not the unit?
Im using brand new Sony vtc5 batteries, first time charged. Definitely authentic batteries btw. Maybe because of first usage?

Another quirk, but not a big deal...
The power lock says 5x clicks but its really 8x clicks. Measured it mmultiple times on and off.
Right/lleft switch works fine, check atomizer seams acurate so far...
It says it its good from 4v up to 8.5 v I belive but is giving me blinking ohm reading if I go to 4v, 4.1 v is fine...

Will make video in a bit..
Will also get a kayfun tomorrow to throw on as all I have is 1.8ohm nautilus mini right now.

Any other requests for testing or knowledge just let me know!

Thanks@jbarrick, i would hope somone would do the same.
I always browse the ecig forum but never joined. This place is great and happy i have.

    So, heard back from seller.
They stated they mustve put the description wrong. They seem to think that the battery indacator on the screen will show battery charging. I cannot confirm this yet as I still have full batteries. I will confirm tomorrow or wen they go down enough to tell.
I highly doubt this is the case though.
The seller mmentionedthat they have room to improve and would love feedback.
Seem like good people but who knows really...
    Appreciate everyones advice and input.
    Will keep yuh posted.

Googled and came up with this.
Battery indicator: The current state of charge of the battery.

Its possible that it will show you the battery symbol wen charging. But how to know when its t ruly at capacity is my issue when charging on board.
The symbol oon screen could read full battery but its really at 4v or 4.1 because its within range of the last battery notch symbol.
Its not like it says "battery charged or will change color on screen, yuh know?

Great find on dna pdf! Great comparison and information to have.

Ive asked about wire guage, there is no writing on smaller button wires that is visable by eye or magnifying glass.

The 4.1 to 4.6 v jump wen firing is making me a bit nervous. It should just fire the first time at 4.6v and everytime. Not jump or ramp up power.
If anyone has seen or experienced something similar id luv to kno. Not sure if its the unit or my vct5s.

What do you have it set at, remember this regulates up.

4.1 volts X 4.1 Volts = 16.81 div by 1,8 ohms = 9.33 watts. (Setting it higher and it has to regulate.)

    4.6 Volts X 4.6 volts = 21.16 div by 1.8 ohms = 11.75 watts.

IMO: That's a chip on a board it has to figure it out and adjustments to the setting.

I bet there is an LED for the charging board.

I had a cloupor gen I for a short time (overnight) and thought it didn't have a light. I happened to have it plugged in with the back off and noticed a dim red light coming from the bottom corner. It was hard to see since the board cover was translucent red and hid the light, but it was there. So, I chucked a small drill bit in the press and drilled a hole (mod fully assembled) in the same location as the light hole in my FT clone, an there is was- red for charging and green when charged. They just didn't drill the hole.

If you read the forums on FT, there are complaints early on about how the light was difficult to see (just barely showing through the USB port hole), but then Hotcig started drilling the seperate LED hole. The lights were there the whole time.

My guess is that the USB charging board (which is a separate unit from the DNA/clone board, are all coming from the same place and the red and green on-board LEDs are there), they're just not drilling the hole in the box.

I actually did watch videos before but was under the impression the led light was there for charging because it was in the ebay description for all the irems I considered buying. But I watched again and BAM no led charging light on cloupor. I mustve been going off of descriptions not vision! Lol

    Thanks for confirming this.

The seller is going to get me some more technical information about the device and send it to me.

Last night I noticed I was hearing a seldom pop out of my nautilus , not like it was fully firing but just a very low poof kind of noise if I had the drip tip close to my ear. Not sure if thats low voltage randomly running on unit pulsing every 15 secs or the nautilus mini popping air bubbles. Will test more today.
Going to check it with a multi meter tday too.
