Been talking to a bunch of folks behind the scenes regarding what my level of participation in the FDA's Battery Safety Workshop could be. There are strong arguments for not even participating, which I won't discuss. :)

We do have a month to comment after the workshop finishes though.

You'd be smart to stay out of it, unless you like all aspects of heavy scrutiny.

Above all, anything that slows or interrupts the flow of the tobacco msa money will be buried in/with FUD, junk science & fake news.

I think its a symptom of the universe.... bad, shocking, negativity , click bait it all sells...... do a google search of news and type in ecigs, it is 99% negative, this is why, the media loves bad news, good news is boring!
On another note, is us the consumers of the media who only respond to bad news? hmmf bit of philosophy there for you ha

It's just so sad... I finally have gotten off of nicotine, I no longer NEED to vape! The media and all of the "reporters" want us all to quit using bp nicotine patches or die. They don't care about saving lives they only care about their precious ratings that ironically are the lowest they've ever been.

Local NBC affiliate has added to the fray….

Toxic 'dripping' latest trend for teens

Speechless……

"Your child could be "dripping" - and it's extremely dangerous.

It's a new trend for teens who vape. "Dripping" is supposed to produce more smoke and flavor from an e-cigarette."

Is it just me or is this giving off a South Park/Family Guy vibe to it. Anyone seen the "Cheesing" episode of South Park and the Toad Licking episode of Family guy?
