The rush for all intents and purposes was Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Lack of o2 to the brain. Thats why we do not feel it when vaping, no combustion so no monoxide production.
I wonder why it's not felt with every cigarette. Or for that matter, every drag. Can the nicotine play some part?

The contents, in order are VG,PG,Flavor,Nicotine,Benzoic Acid.
So, at least 50% VG. That might be where they cut some of the harshness of 50mg/ml. Maybe something else about it, too.

I looked up info about Benzoic Acid. Sounds pretty safe to me, but the info is too technical for me to understand, much. Wikipedia says it's been used in inhalant decongestants.

Sample MSDS for

Benzoic Acid

Nic,If I remember correctly, carbon monoxide bonds very well with hemoglobin. tolerance is built quickly. It takes many hours after your last cigarette to get it all out of your system, usually overnight. So, if you wait a few hours after you wake up you will feel it as the rush and body tingle, after that, tolerance. Although one side effect I got, for the 35 years I smoked, and hence ate ibuprofen like candy, was a headache when smoking too much in a day.As opposed to what I would get sometimes the next day which I describe as a nicotine hangover. Although i am sure some of the headaches were due to excess nicotine as well.

But then, why doesn't that happen when people smoke "other stuff"? They usually take deep long drags and hold it in a long time. Wouldn't they be getting a bigger dose of carbon monoxide? I've never heard of anyone getting that kind of effect from it.

Could it be something else about cigarette smoke contributing? Or something about "other stuff" smoke that counteracts it? So far, it's not adding up, to me, and it's really tough to just trust any supposed science about smoking. Maybe it's more fiction from TC scientists.

Smoking cigarettes gives you both WTA and carbon monoxide.

In my opinion, carbon monoxide provides the "rush" that you get when haven't smoked in awhile.
And WTA provides a smooth "happiness" buzz that is from the MAOIs.

So yes, smoking provides a few things known, and maybe more that are unknown.
vaping straight nicotine doesn't provide those.

I've heard people say they get some kind of "rush" or "buzz" from high nicotine liquids.
I don't know anything about that, as I never got it.

Higher nicotine levels just make me feel nauseous.

Smoking cigarettes gives you both WTA and carbon monoxide.

...

As well as a Toxic Cocktail from all those extra Chemicals that are added to Cigarettes.

I have always felt that Part of the "Rush" feeling that I would get from Smoking was do to these Added Chemicals. Because I Never got the Same Feeling when I smoke a Cigar. Or do a Bowl of Unflavored Pipe Tobacco.

And yes, I Inhaled both Cigars and Pipe Tobacco.

Interesting, but can't agree.
The rush is from carbon monoxide as far as I'm concerned.

Your results may vary.
:)

EDIT: Upon further review, maybe some of the "chemicals" also contribute to the "rush"
EDIT: Maybe

All of what I said is Just My Opinion. And Isn't Based on any Facts.

I saw a Drop in that "Rush" Feeling when I switched from Benson & Hedges to American Spirits. The American Spirits are not supposed to have "Added" chemicals in them like Ammonia.

I saw a same Drop when I going from Benson & Hedges to decent Cigars and Pipe Tobacco.

Like I said, this is All just My Opinion. But I feel that Part of that Rush was do to Added Chemicals.

That's My Story. And I'm Sticking to It.

LOL

My last couple decades of smoking, I smoked American Spirit, which supposedly has no additives. The last few years I rolled my own, using American Spirit with what I believe to be additive free papers. I still got that rush when not having smoked for probably at least 6 hours. It could be that something in cigarette smoke contributes to that carbon monoxide effect. Or maybe it's not the carbon monoxide, at all.

I thing Carbon Monoxide is Definitely a plays a Role in all this.

What Percentage? I dunno?

Maybe 100% when someone Smokes "Natural" Tobacco. And with Cigarettes that have Added Chemicals, Maybe... 75% Carbon Monoxide - 25% Added Chemicals?

Personally, I don't think I have to resort to something like this. If it does what it says it does, I don't want to try it. I'm happy with what I have and would like to progress to lesser levels of nicotene.

That being said, I hope this product does what it says it does, safely, and gets public recognition for it. There are many that the current ecig/VP doesn't work for. Experimentation is a good thing. Even when it fails, we learn to do better.

Am I the only one who thinks this Juul is basically going to be an overpriced pseudo-cigalike? And what exactly does it accomplish that isn't already being done by WTA liquids?

Dunno?

I haven't tried it or even Held on in my Hand. I'll reserve Judgment until I do.

WTA liquids do not get me jump-started in the morning like that first cigarette used to.

That was the Hardest Cigarette to Not Smoke. The Mourning Cigarette with Coffee.

It was Also the Cigarette that kept the Hook in my Mouth. And made it Extreme Hard to completely Quit Smoking. I could see Potential Benefits to this Juul as part of a "Dual Use" e-Cigarette plan.

Juul when Not Awake and drinking Coffee. Regular e-Cigarette in the Mourning. Juul after Lunch. Regular e-Cigarette in the Afternoon. Juul after Diner. Regular e-Cigarette in the Evening.

Perhaps a Juul isn't going to replace Regular e-Cigarettes? But I could see Possibilities for Someone who is having a Hard Time getting "Over the Hump".
