Any chance of seeing a rebuildable atomizer head cap?

Riverboat, I seriously thought the same thing till I tried the kayfun. If you ever get the chance to try one, just try it. Main reason I am wanting David to come out with his atty is because at this point, I would be very very happy just finishing off all my devices with kayfuns or the china kayfun. I am seriously trying not to do that and give super T the chance to show me what they got.

I tell you as a hard core dripper now for the last two years, since the kayfun, I have put all my drippers to the side. Yeah it is that good!

I hate tanks and as good as the Kayfun may vape I cant stand the added weight and size it adds to a mod...

Truly the heaviest set up I have ever had, ELA and the kayfun. Though it makes one heck of a sweet looking, sweet vaping cloud machine.

I once owned a ZAP....It vaped great, but was so heavy and bulky that I would never carry it out of the house.....

I gotta go with Riverboat on this... I like my RBAs small. So much so that I had to make what I wanted my own damn self. Yes, it's smaller than both the Killer 705 and the Diver...

Beautiful Satin:) Now the next question is when are you going to sell start selling that atomizer you designed? I would try one...

At this point there's too much hand work that goes into it to make it marketable the way I'm making them now. I just spent 2.5 hours grinding and sanding brass screws into shape for a redesign of the neg post.
I've thought about taking it to a few machine shops to get quotes. I'm just terrified about the idea of laying out the $ to have them made and not being able to sell them. Seems like there's an expectation that anything that's shaped like a carto, should be able to go into a carto tank. That's not the case with this one...

If you're interested, I should be putting together a few more within the next week or two. There are a few design tweaks I want to test. If you'd like, I'll PM you when I'm done and we can work something out. If anything, I'd be interested in getting feedback and thoughts on whether or not it's good enough to risk a production run.

I understand you guys like small, but have you guys actually looked at the strata images? That atty was flush.

No way after reading the description is a feeder going to fit in anything that is the same size as carto.

I consider the Kayfun/ELA combo getting my hand ready for the SuperT atty! Ha HA

Edit:: I drove with the combo again a few hours this evening, it is getting easier and easier. Call it hand conditioning!!! LOL

Yea. I looked at it. There are no under the hood details. Could be a great design... Could be crap... No idea until we actually get a look at the internals. That's not the point...

For me personally, it could make ordinary tap water vape like pure heaven and still won't buy it if its the size of a Kayfun. I'm a dripper... I don't mind carting around a bottle of juice. I just don't want it connected to my atty or my PV.

Please don't take what I've said as a knock against any tank atty. I have every confidence that the Kayfun vapes every bit as well as people say... But... I'll never know unless I get to try someone else's. Its just takes up too much real estate to suit my taste.

Also, I'm not asking for anything the size of a carto either. I've got that already. If it can be about the size of something like the Vela Latina, I'll be all over it.

There are two things that bug me about tank atomizers and size isn't one of them.
I try to at least take a stab at keeping vaping as healthy as possible. Any tank I've had - carto, genesis, silica - you can literally watch the color of the juice change before your eyes. It might be irrational but my brain has a problem with that. Wicking is a two way street.
For the same reason I like clean coils & wicks. I haven't found a tank system that makes it quick and convenient to clean them whenever I feel like it.

I'll 2nd that. Some are definitely easier than others but I've yet to find one that I'd call easy or convenient. Then again, I like to play with my toys so that's not a major turn off for me.

Since you mentioned the whole "juice in the tank gets dark" thing... I've always experienced that myself, until recently. I've got a genisis setup that's close to a month old and the color of the liquid looks like it came straight out of the bottle. The only difference between this and previous builds is that this one is using a Nextel XC132 wick.

Like you, I always assumed that the dark color was the result of juice from the coil wicking back down to the tank. I'm now thinking that it has more to do with heat than anything else. I suspect that the heat transfers down the wick and it's the transferred heat that darkens the juice in the tank... More so than juice from the coil being wicked back down.
The XC132 doesn't transfer heat so no color change...
I've never used a carto tank but you say the same thing happens with them too... If so, that seems to add weight to the idea that its the heat causing the color change... Just a thought.
