Liking my echo's 1300 better then expected got these for back ups and easy use they do a good job.Has any one cleaned one of the cartos?Any success let us know.

I use basically use clear 80-20 juice so I don't clean often but the Go-Go cleaning method will work on these too. The only difference is the carto on the echo is cone shaped and the Go-go is a straight tube carto. One person used the Go-Go method on the cone type carto on the iGo and said it worked good. They are brand new so it will be a little bit before anyone tries the cleaning method but I'm sure some of the tinkers won't be able to resist. I've yet to clean any of my Go-Gos. Myself I probably won't be cleaning any for a month or so. I will first just try the ultrasonic cleaner without taking out the filler and see how that works. I'm lazy and all thumbs when it comes to tinkering. lol

I have cleaned both go-go and IGO cartomizers by boiling and by just holding under running hot water and then drying in the oven..

They already think I'm half crazy..then I start putting parts of a pv in the oven. That would not go over to good...

lol That was good gel, I can't get myself to cook mine either. I will have to buy me a dehydrator to go with my ultrasonic cleaner then I will be set. lol

lol, non-vapers must think that we're a strange bunch!

The oven is an underestimated device. I put all the e-stuff I want to dry in there. An hour and a half on 40 degrees Celsius, which nicely translates into approx. 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and I'm good to go. By the way, I have a hot air oven, I guess that works better than a regular one.

You know I'm kind of surprised no one ever lays their parts on the open oven door. Some people may be going "huh?" reading this but back in the day (I love saying that) when I didn't have a dryer I sometimes dried the occasional shirt that way in a pinch. It didn't take long either. I would think the parts would be less at risk from being overheated this way. Just a thought for poor people who can't go out and buy a food dehydrator and don't want to risk actually puting parts in the oven.

Okay, so why can't we use a hair dryer?

I think some people do but I don't have any hair except on my face so I don't own one.lol I can get a dehydrator for 25.00 at Harbor freight but that would mean I have 50.00 tied up in cleaning equip to clean a 3.00 carto which I never have to clean but knowing me i probably will. lol

So here I am all confused again.
I wanna do tasting with echo, and got advises to get "801 drip tip" and "901 atomizer's in LR" and I just placed an order.
Now, do I combine them and set to battery when using for tasting? Or do i use 801DT with echo cartomizer?
Maybe its all clear when i receive and see it for myself, as I'm not quite sure if I understand whole Dripping thing correctly.

You can only use the 801 drip tip with the Echo carto. If you want a drip tip for the 901 atty you would need a 901 or 510 drip tip for that. You don't have to use one to drip though. You should get a blank tip with your atty that you can use. You just pull it off and drip two or three drops into the atty. If you put much more you will flood the atty and it will take longer to fire.

The 801 drip tip for the echo carto is simply a different mouth piece that some prefer. You won't want to drip into it. When you need to refill you just pull it off and drip in juice on the side holding at an angle so it doesn't run into the center air hole or it will just run through. I prefer to use a syringe to fill mine because it is much faster. It takes awhile to drop a hundred drops in but it is easy and i did it that way for a long time until I started using a syringe.:2cool:

Thank you. Everything is much more clear now.
And I am gonna try to change the order I placed.

I am currently filling with pipette that I use to measure and mix, but will definitely try the syringe.

Got mine yesterday filled three carts while battery was chargind so they set awhile... each one tasted burnt and awfulll after a lot of va
es they tasted somewhat better...malted toffee still taste bad.. think I would reccomend washing new carts and blowing out before use.
I was upset but their getting better. Other than that it works wonderful. I will be a happy camper if the flavor gets better.
