I have an Echo and just to make sure I tried it. I cant make it cut off at all. It keeps going for as long of a draw as my lungs can handle it. I timed it an got up to 20 seconds before I gave out.
Anyone else tried the new Echo?

Ok, I'm feeling like I got gyped somehow because everybody I've heard from has either a really long or no cutoff. I guess I'll have to call CropDuster901 about this.
Just recieved my new Echo kit from cropduster901. First thing I noticed is the battery has a 5 second cutoffWhats up with that??!! I thought cutoffs were a thing of the past and don't remember reading, anywhere, that these had one. Did I miss something?
I did state that it didn't have a cutoff and I apologize for that. I took as long of a drag as I could and never had it cutoff. Early on someone reported that it indeed does have a cutoff, it must have been on a different thread, after repeated tries I was able to make it cutoff. Sorry for the error and hope no one else is misled but it definately wasn't intentional.
I tried to go back and edit the post but I guess it has been to long ago because it won't allow me to edit.
What adapter do I need to use a 510 on the echo batts a 808 or a 901. The batts are great but I can't get the burnt taste out of the echo cards... Al I have wasted enough juice on them..willtry other cats that I know will work.
I have a real hard time making mine cutoff too but I was able to after repeated tries. I finally had to check it on a timer and found out it indeed does. I have mine from two different vendors so I'm sure they all have a cutoff maybe some cutoff sooner than others. I did find out 6 seconds is a lot longer than I thought.

Received my Echo 1300 kit this past weekend and love it. Only problem being the tips falling out. I read earlier in this thread that you can use an 801 Drip Tip so I'm off to order a couple of them. Just something to keep in mind if you decide to order this set up. Otherwise, goes forever and Cropduster901.com has some great deals and are fast in getting items out to you.

I got mine from there as well. I did the same test. If the echos from there have a cutoff, I couldn't hit it. (Almost passed out after 12 seconds...)

Yes, I have a cutoff. It's ONLY 5 seconds, ...... me off to the point where my new Echo is sitting in the box untouched. Gave up on it and WON'T be using it again. It's worse than the kit that I bought from the mall which actually had more vapor production.
You should sell that nasty, ole kit and recover some of your money before the word gets out as to how bad they are.
Sounds like there could be different cutoffs floating around. For those w/ a five second, is it a 650 or 1300mAh batt?

No cut-off on mine and no leaking either! Keep trying to find the button to push since I've used manuals so long. It's really nice to not have to. Mine is the 1300 battery.

i bought a kit (1300) from both cropduster and mtnvapor and both have a 5 sec cut off. sounds like different batches have different cut-off times and some dont have any.

Really, how much vapor do you get from it? I barely get any, might have a lemon or something. If there is such a thing in the e-cig world.
