Just as the title says, anyone has any idea how to use it? i have two titanium coils installed in OBS engine V2 with 0.12 oHm resistance, now theres
TCR SET - Sets value, is set to 230, no idea what it is, the moment i press ok it confirms but the temp shows 350F
Power Set - Wattage only, ive set it to 60W since 1 second of 60W is 60 Joules and 2 seconds is 120 Joules (No idea whats best for titanium)
CCT Set - Custom Curve, more or less better clear than TCR magical menu
And lock unlock of course
Also, any idea how to swap to celsius?

Thanks in advance!
even at 200F temp it seems to burn in

The TCR sets the value of the wire. In TI I set mine to 365....there is a range tho depending on the mod that can be 350-365...I have a vaporesso Polar mod and 365 is fine for it.

Power is where you want the hit to be. Your choice on whatever tastes best to you.

CCT set I let the mod sit that one and its not necessary unless you vape in that mode.
Some lock resistance some don't. When to lock in is before you vape and the mode is a room temp. Some say it is not necessary. Your choice again.

Some mods just switch to Celsius by continuing to press the temp button, it is like a roll over. Try that.

Hope this helps.

:)

eta. TCR is hard hitting. May be why you are burning so soon. Go ahead and set to TI mode but set the TCR to 365. It will still use it. You should notice the difference right away.

Then you can play with wattage and temp to dial in what taste best to you.

for some reason the titanium coils smell a bit like dirty socks when vaped, same juice I use on Ni or SS, only Ti coils seem to produce this smell
There should be no smell. Are you sure you did not accidentally burn them when trying the TCR? Did you set the TCR as per my first posting?

didnt, theyre completely white with no color change, also the cotton is pure white, so i have no idea off what is the crappy taste coming off from, I just swapped back to stainless steel as I cant seem to get the titanium working, oh well

That is likely your best possible course of action for now. :) Stick with the one that brought you to the dance. You can likely find some videos on that there YouTube place to get a better understanding of using Titanium. I've not had any experience using it or would offer more help. Hope you do get it figured out & come by to let us all know if it does well or not.

Here's a basic video for TC.

Bear in mind that him saying Power mode means Wattage mode.

One thing more to consider, and you can check it out for yourself, but I would suggest using titanium over nickel. Nickel can very easily produce toxic gas when heated. I recall this from some welding courses taken many years ago. The vaping might not push the nickel that far but imho, not worth the risk. --- Although, ... *chuckles* "will ya look at those cloudz, bra!"

The white is the problem....when new they should be shiny grey color like silver.....replace those---you have applied too much heat to use these safely. Space your coils so you don't have to worry about any hot legs or hot spots.

Lower your wattage with new coils(any) and take a couple of pulls. Then keep upping the wattage until you find your sweet spot. Make sure coils are always saturated with liquid(any coil) and go slowly when breaking in new coils.

Vaping temps will be no where near what it takes to get toxic gas from nickel. 1200 degrees F is what is coming to mind but not totally sure so don't quote me.
Also when using TC you set the temp and 1--mods don't go that high and I image at that temp(if you did manage to do it) the mod would be so hot you could not even hold it anyway and 2 since you are the one setting the temp it stops where you tell it to.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I'm not familiar with the Ti coil, however, I am sure others will be by to help you.
Stick around and maybe you will want to try them....Best tasting vape of all the coils out there.....imo and have the longest lasting life to them also

lol

I have used a Linux based for computer for roughly over a decade. Honey, simply because you instruct a machine to do X and not Y does not always guarantee that being the case. Pardon my language seeming archaic. I grew up and worked around classic old birds, older gents that spoke in such a manner. I mean no disrespect or ill will. Machines can break or decide to do differently. It happens. *chuckles*

Excuse me, off to go eat and avoid the wrath of my witch. :)

So far the best
All you have to do to change to Celsius is to run the temperature either up or down to the limit of the Fahrenheit scale (200-600) and it automatically changes to Celsius.
I was running it at 350F* at 40w, the coils were like new, but I feel the issue might be that they are fake ud coils, the titanium coil seems dark grey, il post picture once I'm home, the coil left bad taste in tank even after I stalling nichrome coil, though today after few puffs it vanished, tank is obs engine v2. Or maybe it was because I made it braided but I heavily doubt as the coil didn't even heat far enough to produce small amount of vapor, it started releasing old sock smell instantly on even minor heat
