Got my samples today: Double Dutch Chocolate, which I asked for, and French Vanilla (asked for Cookies and Cream, but it's all good).
I mixed two 5ml samples, shaking them right now. Normally, I usually like to try new flavors at very low %'s, and I generally never vape above 10% flavoring. However, I mixed them both at 10% each. I don't believe in the magic of steeping... especially with anything that's not a tobacco, so, here goes the taste test:
French Vanilla - Not bad really. Like most vanillas, this one also shares that certain dryness to the hit. Even at 10% the flavor is light, but you can certainly feel it in the throat (that dryness). It reminds me of TFA French Vanilla (I guess if you had one, you've had 'em all), and I can't tell if it's a trick of the mind, but it seems like this may be a tad sweeter than TFA's version. Then again, it's been months since I last had it.
Double Dutch Chocolate - I am vaping on it, and I'm thinking to myself, "Man, this is it! This is just tasty..." then the burnt tootsie roll taste comes in. Let's blow out the atty, and allow it to cool down for a minute. May be a trick of the mind again, but I thought I tasted almost a peanut taste... perhaps almost like a Mr. Goodbar (God I love Mr. Goodbars). Yeah, there it is again, tasting like a Mr.Goodbar, but with some tootsie roll elements involved. Perhaps I'm mistaking the burning chocolate flavor for a peanut taste? Yeah, I almost certain that's it. The flavor is strongest on the first pull just after dripping, then fades away into a burning taste, disappointing.
I feel like I want to try a mixture of the chocolate and TFA Cinnamon Danish. Something tells me it might work, but as is, I'm not overly impressed. I appreciate the samples from the good folks from One on One, thanks, guys.
Would this be a company I would order from? Based on these two samples, most likely not. But I would be lying if I said I wasn't interested in some of the other flavors. Namely, the cookies and cream, and some of the cereals. Has anyone had the cookies and cream yet? I'd be interested in hearing about it.
