'Just to be clear - I have absolutely no problem at all with any/everybody doing & mixing & inhaling whatever they want to do, mix or inhale....to each his own, que sera sera, etc :) However I want to make sure everyone knows that I did not recommend (nor do I recommend) mixing a salt solution for vaping with table or sea salt. Of course a .9% standard saline solution would be easy enough to create...but one would need to start with USP Nacl & distilled water to achieve the purity & consistency most want when DIYing.

The 9% mistake solution turned out working pretty well to be honest, at least on a vanilla/caramel flavor. No saltiness, just a pleasant vape that I'm vaping on now. It was a small 10ml test batch, so nothing major. If it took a turn for the worse, at least I won't be out :).

I figured I'd start small and work my way up once I make sure it's good for me, but so far, so good. Looks like the final base I make will be using it.

i was impressed by the 7 flavors i ordered, i ordered 3 more flavors
240ml sundae toppings / 240ml pina colada and 30ml fruit loops, i should have them monday. ill update after vaping them. also i bought a 473ML of dutch apple pie lol, i couldnt resist. that 10ML bottle wasnt going to last long, relatives like it, i do to. :vapor:

Woo! That's a lot of flavoring! Especially DAP - if it's really that good, I think I need to grab some. What is Sundae Toppings? Just a mix of flavors or am I missing something on their site? :)

Let me know how the Pina Colada is as well!

We use a 'base' of 80% VG; 9% distilled water; 2% PGA; and 9% Sterile Saline (.9%) - for all of our juices (and for 'flavorless' vaping).

--You cannot taste the salt
--It helps to hydrate the mouth (substantially)
--Saline solution/vapor is used for all manner of "lung treatments" (with or without added pharmaceuticals)
--It makes the flavors *POP* (in a major way) - particularly chocolates, bakery, and most fruits
--It is tank/coil friendly (use only .9% sterlile saline solution without 'salt impurities')

There is absolutely no doubt in our mind that it is used by many e-juice vendors - and that it is the missing element in many DIY juices.

We2Rcool, I am going to try out this base. The eJuice Me Up calculator is being finicky when trying to do zero PG, keeps calling for negative amounts of PG. I assume in your 80% VG 20% DW,PGA, Saline recipe, when adding flavors into the %'s you would take away from the VG's 80%? Say 70%VG, 20% DW,PGA,Saline and 10% flavoring, am I correct in this thinking? Thanks!

YES! (I think I'm understanding you correctly - so I'll try to explain to make sure)...

Below are two screen shots of our eJuice Me Up "Base" (at 0 mg nic, and at 12mg nic). We do not use the "VG aspect" of the calculator for flavors - ever...because we don't want to deal with that whole (very irritating) 'negative amounts' thingy. We know that most of our flavorings are 90%+ PG...but we don't really care about calculating the exact percentages. All we care about is that we get the nic & flavoring percentages correct!

But one does have to adjust the percentage of VG (when used as a "flavor") to account for the percentage of nic.

We keep both of these "on hand" (in large quantities).

When we're 'testing flavors' and doing small size trials of various recipes, we use the Base w/Nic already mixed (yes, the addition of the flavors lowers the nic ratio somewhat, but we don't give a hoot when we're just wanting to know what something tastes like). We tell eJuice Me Up the flavors & percentages we want; 0 nic; and 100% VG (and make the flavors all 100% VG to trick eJuice Me Up). But we use the Base w/Nic instead of 100% VG. We then note in the Comment/Note section how much nic was in the base (and we also put that info on the label of the bottle).

When we decide to make more than few mls of a flavor/recipe, we plug our base into the eJuice Me Up calculator as 100% VG, along with the percentage of nic we want (and the flavor percentages, all as 100% VG). We use our No Nic Base as the VG, then add the correct amount of nic & flavors.

'Hope that answers your question (and makes sense)!

That helps alot, thank you. I was able to get it to work by adjusting some percentages, but I see now I didn't have the VG % by each of the flavors as 100%. I think that was why it was throwing me negative numbers, which is in fact very irritating.

Have some 101 Sweet Tarts and Gummi Bears with this base in the UC right now :vapor:

Thanks again cool, you have been a great help!

The Sweet Tarts tastes fantastic to me, I have already mixed it with a few things and it is great. Still unsure about that separation issue though, I mixed up a batch of Skittles at the same percentage and there was not separation like with the sweet tarts in the ultrasonic. Not sure if they use the same carrier but I thought Tactical said they did.

What all have you mixed Sweet Tarts with? I'd be interested to know. It's great on its own, but I've not tried blending it with anything :).

Skittles, Gummy Bear and Sweet Tart are the three w/ Triacetin. Others may contain it, though I've not ran into them yet. Should be trying a few others soon and once I do, I'll be getting a new thread started for flavor reviews and comments based on what I've experienced thus far.

Most of the flavors are really good. Some aren't for me (personal taste), but I think they're doing a wonderful job thus far and I'm glad to see others are enjoying them as much as I am. Hoping to get some of my other vape mail in from others as well so I can really put their mixing abilities to the test :).

sundae toppings maybe the topping on a sundae idk but when i try it ill let you know the outcome, im hoping for a good pina colada if so ill be stoked

Sundae Toppings - well the taste of banana, chocolate and cherry is definitly there, taste is quite nice to my liking of sweets

Now onto the main attraction Pina Colada - the flavor is dam near spot on i mean i tried an actual pina colada side by side only difference is the glass drink had alcohol in it lol but overall decent to my liking

at the end of the day everyone has a difference in opinion on what is liked and not liked. these are opinions that i find for myself, i am always willing to share an experience if its a good one. overall i will be shopping for more flavors in the near future. my goal is not to have every flavor imagined but to find 4 ADV's that i can switch up once a week. but to my surprise its not easy looking for that ADV as they are a pain to find. hopefully this info was somewhat useful to anyone who reads. this is just giving my :2c:

Does the PC taste like it has a rum flavoring mixed in? That's the main issue I've had with most PC's, no rum flavor to mimic the alcohol in an actual PC. I'm looking forward to trying it if it does as I have about 5 on-hand now (from other vendors) and I hate them all, but still love to have an occasional drink when I can find a place to make one to my specifications :).

what i did in the name od science is make a bunch of actual pina colada's, sip then vape. as to the alcohol flavoring i would assume adding a J.rum flavor to the mix maybe ill try that tonight see what i can come up with. but besides that im happy with the pina colada jmho though

Mixed it with a little Pomegranate and Grape and it is quite nice.

Still not sure why the sweet tarts separates so much when the skittles does not. Maybe I got a funky batch or something but the taste is fantastic.

IT's not just you, my sweet tarts batch has been in the UC all day and it is still separating like crazy. This will be my second batch of sweet tarts, both have had the separation issue but taste wise the first one turned out okay.

I received samples of the Rice Krispies and Razzleberry (though I no longer see the Razzleberry listed on their site?). Mixed up a little Razzleberry Cheesecake last weekend and it was sooooo good! I finished that tank off in no time!

Also tried the RCT recipe. Think I'll need to tweak that one a little as the RK overpowered it too much to get the marshmallow flavor. Excited to finally have a good joose to work with though! :)

The previous RCT was based in the older version they offered. I'll have to rework it since the new version is a tab bit stronger :). That said, I like stronger flavors, so you may need to adjust anyway ;).

What did you mix the RB Cheesecake at? Who's cheesecake did you use? Would be interested as that's one flavor I've not mixed yet.

I can see why the RK was re-formulated....I get more cereal-type flavor than RK-type flavor from it.

Ah...the RB Cheescake....here ya' go:

11% TFA Cheesecake w/Graham Cracker
4% TFA Marshmallow
2% 1o1 Razzleberry

1o1 review's are up for anyone who's tried there flavors give your review on the flavor you've gotten, so others will have a better shopping experience, so they know whats good and not good jmho

Great idea! Do the right thing, if you got free flavors and liked them, post a review.
Here's my review for Cinnamon Roll:
Delicious
Koward on Nov 07, 2013

Great Cinnamon roll flavor. Very authentic, warm and buttery with just the right amount of Cinnamon, not too much...not too little.
Highly recommended ( and I've tried some other bands).

Now back to your regularly scheduled SALINE thread ;)
