Anyone here smoke a few cigarettes a day while vaping before switching over?

I went back and forth for a while. Was working with a cig-a-like kit that was, well, problematic so I'd go out and buy a pack while ordering replacement batteries or cartos.

Once I upgraded to a variable voltage mod with a tank and then found a few juices I liked, I was able to get the same level of satisfaction that I got from smoking cigarettes. Within a month or so, I couldn't imagine smoking a cigarette again because I had a great device and great flavors without all the cancer and stink!

The upgrade to a more reliable system really made the difference for me.

I overlapped for about two weeks. When I would have a couple of drinks during the weekend, I found it harder not to smoke. But since then I've completely switched over. I found that if I had smoked in the morning, I'd be wanting a cig for the entire day. Toughest part for me was the morning coffee and no cigarette. Time helps that as well as deep draws from my ecig :) Happy Vaping!

I started young, because of careless cousins who left there's around a curious kid. Then would only smoke at parties when I got older, and really only smoked, consistently (I suppose is the right word) for about 2 or 3 years so quitting and going to vape was really easy... but the smell of a cigarette lighting up still gives me the urge sometimes haha

I still smoked for a couple of months. Never really had a plan to quit. Just thought I would use ecigs while out and about. Then I realized how much better they were and haven't smoked a cigarette since February. For me the no pressure approach worked. Each cigarette you skip is a step in the right direction and you'll quit entirely when you're ready.
