I am so lucky to not have to drill out anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I usually have to plug up air holes. At any rate thanks all for all the valuable info.

I really thought you were a try-anything-gal. You have tons of knowledge, are organized and from what I can see a really nice person worth knowing. And according to you, you have everything anyone would need to fix something. So I would guess drilling a hole would be near the top of your wanna-do list.

So sweet. I'm blushing. I have too much stuff and too little organization. Sometimes it takes more time to locate everything and find proper work space than it does to do small jobs.

Oh yeah, I succumbed to the lazy virus a while back. No cure.

Well why would Rob be selling a dripping atty?

Here is what the site says:
This is a dripping atomizer if you plan to use it on any reo mod you will need a 510 to 510 adapter to avoid shorting your mod . Mini screw driver included . These are for advanced users

Robert modded an atomizer to make it a bottom fed rba. It is my guess that these are what he got to mod.

I picked them up in a co-op on ECF. They are really sharp looking!!! They cost me $8.36 each!

Really nice looking Karen. I was able to get on wait list for co-op and did get a couple of the black chromes. That co-op closed really fast. The prices were incredible!!!! I didn't know they were shipped out. Still haven't been to UPS store so hoping they will be there tomorrow along with other vape goodies mounting up. I forget.... Are these SS? I have a couple but not sure if SS. If so I think I'm going to try my hand at torching one which will give a different look from the black. (I have 2 X torched ERAs; fine looking.) A REOnaut posted how to torch, sorry I forgot who, and it may have been for the A7. Requires totally dismantling it and care to have all contaminants off to get best finish.

Feisty Alice, the A7 is actually SS...you should be able to take it apart and heat tint it...I have several ERA's and I've turned the caps into a Brass colour, blue, purple and black...just depends on how long you swirl it under a propane torch...SS oxidizes with heat and depending on how hot you get it depends on the colour achieved...I haven't actually done an A7 yet (I will this weekend) but with the ERA's...wash your parts really good then wipe them down with alcohol (you don't want any contaminants blotching up an even colour)...string them through a coat hanger and swirl them through the flame of a good hot propane torch to get even heating...as the SS heats it will start turning a muddy yellow, then go to a golden colour, then start getting brassy, then go to a muddy brown, then start to blue, then purple then ultimately a dark dark purpley black, careful not to go to long. when done set it on a cookie sheet to cool slowly (don't quench in water!). The parts stay shiny, just a different colour...and unless you take a power buffer and polishing compound to it, the colour is permanent.

Thanks Quigs. I think I might aim for the brass look. Know if they can be done a second time, after they cool, or a third, etc.?

I just did a mod on the A-7. That center post on the bottom, basically it is a screw with a hole in it, would be very loose when it was lowered enough to fire on my REO's. It shorted out my Grand.

So, I took the A-7 apart and looked to see what I was dealing with. Like I said it is a small screw that threads into a tube. When lowered most of the threads are not screwed in. So it fits loose.

I took a cartos condom and cut a circular piece from the open end. About 1/8 inch wide. Then cut it so it was a band instead of a ring. I unscrewed the screw as much as I could and still have it stay in the tube. Took one end of the condom strip and started placing it around the head of the screw. Kept going till both ends met then cut off extra so it formed a ring around the screw. Tightened the screw and no more movement side to side!

If you look at the Reomizer you will see that around the center post on the bottom there looks to be a silicon ring keeping the screw in the middle. It keeps it from moving and touching the sides.

With the mod I did mine now looks like the Reomizer and is very stable.
