I am loving my aspire. I had trouble with the head that came in it but had ordered two others and switched it out and it's been great ever since! I ordered a second one and five heads :2cool: I then remembered that Phil said there was a break in time and I think there definitely is! What is everyone using with their aspire? I'm using the vamo and the Itaste vv/vw, mostly Itaste.

Tracey

I am using my Vamo, SVD and soon my VTR :)

What am I missing?

The Aspire ET-S BDC Glassomizer is Pyrex glass, 3 ml. capacity and costs $8.95.

The Davide BDC Glassomizer is Pyrex glass, 3 ml. capacity and costs $21.95.

What makes the Davide worth 2-3 times the cost of the ET-S?

Aspire ET-S Bottom Dual Coil (BDC) Clearomizer

VERY good question. I didn't notice the price of the others before I bought the Davide. Somebody please let us know.

They're both listed as 3ml capacity, but they're not (and I don't know what exactly they are). The Davide is bigger. The Davide is the same size as the ProTank, while the ET-S is the same size as the mini ProTank.

Also, the Davide has 510 threading and the ET-S has Ego threading.

I also believe they can charge more for the Davide because it's a more recognizable name.

I think that vendor is a little overpriced myself. Thats why I mentioned that I feel the price will drop once more vendors have them in stock :)

The Davide can be taken apart, glass replaced, etc. Plus the drip tip is removable so you can use your own tip. The ETS is not.

Plus...the Davide is considerably more "attractive" than the ET-S...(although I'm too new to vaping to know if that's important or not!!??!!).

I dunno. The glass ETS has the metal sheath over the glass and they are pretty classy looking IMO :) They are available in colors but, I have silver which looks pretty good on my SS mods.

Are the only coils able to be used their 'proprietary' ones, or would the regular ole' EVOD 2.4s and Protank coils be usable on these? Just from what I'm seeing, standard printer business practice...sell a low cost item and make up the money on the replacement parts. Those coils are >2x as expensive as the Kangers

You must use the dual coils on them (not Evod or Kanger which are currently single coil). Perhaps they're twice as expensive because they have twice as many coils. ;)

I'm sure there'll be other dual coil options at some point.

I reviewed the Aspire and am getting awful results from it. No juice flavor, an extremely odd "yeasty" taste, burnt wicks after just a little bit of vaping, immediate burnt juice tastes on coffee-chocolate juices, ect ect. Maybe the coils just are too low of ohm for a vaper who's looking for flavor alone? Or to high maybe?

Whch tank style did you get? I am using a Davide, Ego and Vivi and get GREAT flavor with the Aspire BDCs. There is a bit of a break in period as the flavor gets better with use but I have had no burnt or off tastes.

The Vivi. I'm getting quite a ton of vapor, there's no fault about that, but the taste is simply consistently weird, and burnt in darker juices. While I originally thought that the combined 1.8ohm coils would give a safe resistance of 3.0ohms+, it would seem it's not that simple. I have better luck vaping at very high ohms, for flavor, and this system treated me more like a regular old 1.8-2.5ohm coil on any other device. A bland flavor edging on burnt, and immediately burnt flavors on the coffee and chocolates.

I will say that I like the Davide the best, Ego second and Vivi least. But, I am still not experiencing what you are. What are you vaping it on? Are you getting enough airflow? Some have used a dremel to enlarge the air holes on the Vivis.

No problem with my drip tips so far.

i am using my vivi and davide-s aspires with bobas bounty(100% vg) ,halo belgian chocolate(who knows, it's their secret), an virgin vapor's kona coffee milkshake(50/50 and 100% vg). haven't had a burnt taste yet. too many people are enjoying these without a problem. i know this is going to rile you up and i am not trying to incite, but perhaps you aren't using them correctly? too much power maybe, who knows, but i believe most(not all) problems most people have is user error. most also believe that they are not the problem. all i can say is- i will keep enjoying mine with no problems and i hope you figure out why you are having such a bad experience......
