Apparent thumbs up from the trucking industry

Living in Australia I dont have much understanding of how powerful your unions are, but I have often thought the unions ought to be at the forefront in fighting anti-ecig propaganda. Whoever the union here looking after the truckers are ought to be right at the forefront in fighting the anti brigade for the sake of their workers. More effort needs to be directed towards getting union support. Most smokers are after all from the working classes, the very people unions ought to be looking after.

Funny, but they're (union, big companies) the same ones who don't mind putting mom & pop out of business re the new carb laws, if I understand correctly.
(Which is illegal to push smaller companies out in order to monopolize the market).
Maybe you're right. Maybe you're not. I'm not up on those politics yet.

But taking my response to the former posters reply in context, I still stand by my statement. Unions aren't going to enter a political battle for the rights (or privileges) of their workers outside of what benefits their perspective companies interests. On that political front, other agencies are more likely. (Even if the likelyhood boils down to "fat chance")
