Are oils completely out of the question or is there a way to work with them?

I use peppermint oil often. If there is VG in the mix, it does need some PGA to get it to mix, but it mixes fine in PG.

I have never tried the other two oils you mention.

Thank you! I do use 50% VG. So do I mix the oil with the PGA then add it to the mix? Is there a ballpark ratio?

Thank you so much. You are very helpful.

About 50/50 oil/PGA, but I'm not real precise with it. (PGA makes my syringe plungers hard to move, so I usually just drip out of a pipette.)

The oil is such a tiny amount. (If it is 5% of the total volume it will probably leave an after taste into the next week.)

It will be cloudy after it is first mixed, but it should clear up in a few hours.

I also use some mint oils in DIY with no issues. I tried to use some lime oil and it would not stay mixed it just floated to the top with 80%PG and 20%VG. A friend of mine who was also trying to use citrus oils had no luck either but found out that there is an additional additive used by soda makers to keep the oils mixed in the soda solution. I don't remember what it was but it didn't sound like anything I'd want to vape so I've given up on the citrus oils.

what about pure vanilla extract? vanila bean extractives in water, alchol (41%) made by McCormick, from the baking section at local grocery store. I tried it but had too many other variables ,(ce2 issues,vg from same store, ratio) and it was a failure and havent tried again , thought id check here, any opinions would be appreciated..

For every drop of citrus oil add one drop of vodka to the juice. Works great.

Try Tpa tangerine oil and vodka one drop each for each ml finished juice. Works also with sweet orange oil. Suspect it would work for lime too. Tried spearmint too strong but dissolved fine. Wintergreen oil is heavenly done this way.
