For me it depends a lot on whether I'm working one job or two that day. Less time working means more time smoking. And of course, if I'm up with insomnia, I just plain have more awake time to smoke in.
And sorry, Kit, but I really don't want my device telling me how often I can puff. The auto cutoff is bad enough, and on some models that's darn near intolerably long.

Has anyone else experienced the opposite as I have?

I'm smoking the e-cigarette less than I ever imagined! I love smoking it, but I never feel to need to do it as much as I ever did with cigarettes. I don't even feel like I could smoke a cigarette, and although I probably puff a couple more times on it than a cigarette over a longer space of time, I then don't need it for ages.

I mean... I thought I might be imagining it, but I've got a super-mini (RN4081) which has tiny cartridges, but I've gone down to smoking 2 carts. a day - and some days I don't even finish 1 cart!

I almost feel like I'm getting so much less nicotine compared to cigarettes that it's weening me off the addiction.

Does this make sense?

Any thoughts on my post that no-one seemed to notice? LOL

I know spiders are small but c'mon! :p

Hah, I reep off your drumsticks, feelthy arana..

I won't be fit to comment on this for months. I'm still playing with them. I've got loads of ancillary gizmos as well. I can't tell if I'm puffing this thing right now because I need nicotine, or because I've never smoked Cherry flavour in this model before.

The auto cutoff is a great idea to caluclate when a cigarettes worth is had! imo
but could be switched off if not needed. so people like your self can vape like there no tomorow!

I know DevilFish addressed a question to me, one that Emp answered as I would. I always have an e-device in my hand or lying next to the computer. But there is no way I can answer anything about use or nicotine dose, Fish, since, as I've posted before, I use tobacco snus (see Alternatives section) all of the time. I was using them six months before I got my first e-device. I will be using them even if all e-devices are given the Papal blessing and are sold in corner drug stores for $2 a pop. The snus give me my base nicotine level. The e-smoking adds to that. When my level gets too high -- and it does -- I sip on my e-cigar, an adult pacifier with its wimpy wisps. I come down, down, down. Works for me.

you bought a kissbox Bob?
that came from leftfield!
what made you decide on a kissbox, was it the usa dealership that swung it for you?
id like to hear your thoughts on it sometime.

Yeh, T-Bob, I wanna hear this too. I'm gone for one day and you've got a Kissbox when I get back.

We need fair warning before you go and do something totally out of character.

BTW, I just ordered one too, but without the doodads!

to answer the first question i became addicted to e cigs the moment i realized they were an effective means of getting off my real smoking habit...

the odd thing is all three of my family members simply used the things without that much though for the first month..

they simply worked and we were happy.. overjoyed might be a better word..

Once upon a time a cigarette would last 8 minutes on average (OK that was a long time ago). Now most only last about 5 minutes. You could try timing how long you "smoke" your e-cig for to match that of a "real" cigarette;)
8-owhat I know on real cigarette I drag very fast on it also non stop

once awhile stop to rest...is not matter of how many drag
I drag very fast till my cigratte very fast finish and I have to stop

this is the point where I will not smoke again why?office cannot smoke , toliet I sometime sneak in to smoke but my company cleaners don;t like

at home also sneak smoking if my parents not around or while sleeping THEY know I smoke but I told them I quit .but I do feel they still know I smoke but just didn;t catch me again

now with e smoke cool is now typing this thread , my parents are sleeping
I first time type and smoke in the same time! after 10++ yrs of smoking believe it??even my parents not around I didn;t sit infront of my com smoke

I have to go toliet smoke ..just scare to stink my bedroom when they come back and found out I smoke again.

with e smoke I now smoking don;t have any fear of smell :oops:thus this make me smoke even more

one time is maybe the cart not strong?the highest I can get present is 18mg

don;t mention e liquid here my country very hard to bring in ...
