For me it depends on the size and type of business. Places like Walmart or big box chains I can't really say I'm against it. I think that being that dependent is a little odd, however. But in restaurants or small businesses where you are in one central place for a while, I'm against it. I used to go hang out with a couple people who vaped constantly inside in one room, after a couple hours I'd get headaches and start feeling unwell. The vapor can affect people, so honestly just be courteous of others.
And allergies?
I need to hear some evidence that the impossible has happened at least once...
That someone has definitely had an allergic reaction to second hand vape... and its medically confirmed.

It should be up to the owner of the establishment as to wether or not to allow vaping in their building. The government should have no business in this. Unless it's a government building of course.

I won't pretend to know what anybody else needs, much less tell them what they want.i think it's odd too, does anyone really need to vape in a supermarket, it's not like the cinema where you'll miss something if you pop outside for 5 minutes
I have no medical confirmation of anything. But I can confirm some juices (namely Halo juices and I'm not bashing them at all as I like some of them a lot, namely the Torque, Malibu and the late Smooth 8) can easily make my wife cough her lungs out (even if I'm not vaping them anymore but have been before), not to mention her complaints regarding smells, but that belongs in a different league. To me, that's a nuisance but what can I do? Unfortunately that makes my vaping seem like some terrible addiction, "as much as gambling, for instance". She quit smoking cold turkey about 4 years ago, didn't like vaping when she tried it and it doesn't really matter how much info she gets.

I'm so sorry. I don't know how I would handle vaping if I thought my husband didn't support me because of his experience with it. I can understand the smell thing on some liquids but that is pretty easy to solve. I could be wrong but I think the cough thing may just be her way of saying "I disapprove with vaping". Again, I am sorry that you are not getting the support at home for doing something terrific for yourself just because you did not go the cold turkey route. At least you have us here at ECF.

it would be a terrific idea to disallow perfume on waitstaff, and for the same reason -- not everyone agrees on what "smells good"
^^^This! Strong perfume smells leave me with a terrible migraine... I'd rather be around huge clouds, than perfume. As far as the original post, I CHOOSE to not vape indoors anywhere but my house, my car and my friends houses that are okay with it. I don't take mine in stores, etc. with me. Since the ban on smoking in public places took effect in IL, I've gotten used to not bringing cigarettes inside...I treat my vape the same way.
I sometimes buy bits and pieces from a vape shop who run a stall in my local supermarket. Last week I noticed they had a subox mini and the guy asked if I wanted to try it. Well, of course I did, so he sets it up with the 0.5 coiland I'm standing beside the bakery section blowing clouds and I have to say it did feel somewhat strange (although no-one else seemed to be taking any notice) ...... and yes, I did buy one
Never having built a coil before, he said if I go back with the RBA when I have some time to spare he'll teach me how to do it - I sincerely hope I don't have an audience for that![]()
I'm very much an all fingers and thumbs type person so it could be hilarious - especially as I only speak pigeon French and he only speaks pigeon English LOL. I have asked my husband if he'll come with me as it's the sort of thing he'll be good at and he's something of a perfectionist, whereas I'm not !ROFL! That's exactly why I didn't want to learn to build coils up at SteamCigs' "clinics" -- I didn't want an audience of kibbitzers telling me everything I was doing wrong!
Once I actually just tried out wrapping a piece of wire around a drillbit, I figured out that it was actually pretty easy.

all that is working out pretty well. i remember the last time i walkedI remember the days when owners could decide the race, gender, religion and various other aspects of their customers. Didn't work very nicely.
