Got mine finished too! Thanks mamu!

Not an Arlo but a Ruinovo!

I'll just leave these here......

I have a complete set of build photos and I am in the process of writing a "mamu style" "How-To". I'll start a thread for it but you will have to give me a few days to get it all sorted.

I hope you like..............................

Hey guys im using this enclosure to build a vamo with and was wondering if any of you knew if i could run it in series and still use the charger port (not for charging my 18650s though i know that's a no no)

Then what would you be using the charger for? The charge port or charger would both be useless to any usb system if the batteries are used in series.
Actually, You can add a simple switch into the mix that will allow you to use the batteries in series for power, and "click", change it to parallel for charging.

I wasn't sure if the chip could handle the 8.4v and down regulate it to charge devices with and use flashlight lol.

Could you show me of a diagram for a switch to do just that?

Ok well in series the led works lol,
And all the other leds work.
The use port though is trying to put out the well 7.5v my pair of batteries have (need to charge them suckers) and after only a few seconds testing the charger not hooked up to anything but my multimeter i smelled the chip to make sure it wasn't getting hot.... And it was....
So i guess im going to go with parallel unless some one can point me to a resistor or something i could attach to the board to down regulate ot to 4.2v
Vape safe! Mod happy!

Hello Mamu and everyone. Great mods. Nice work.
It's been a while for me, I havent built any since I made a Nivel box mod a year or so ago.
All of a sudden I am intressted in modding again.
I have ordered some parts from the Arlo mod list.
All I need still is the dna 30 and the craddle
Thanks again for posting.

Thanks so much for posting this tutorial. I have 95% of my parts ordered and will probably get the screen housing and battery contacts next week.

I saw that removing the on-board firing button is optional. I honestly do not want to do this so I wanted to find out if anyone has been successful with just leaving this on? I'm just trying to get an idea before I get my parts...and there's 38 pages to this thread and a bit too much to read every post.

I also wanted to find out if (http://www.ebay.com/itm/181068969258?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649) will work for the fuses...I probably should have asked before I ordered them. I believe I am supposed to use 2 on each battery for a DNA 30.

Thanks!

Edit: I also wanted to find out if you are using the USB port that comes with the box instead of a separate one...I ordered one, but it looks like I will not need it :-/
