I purchased my dad a gift card for his birthday and had to print the info off ( I wasnt aware you guys did not send an actual card) but My father tried to use it over the weekend (black friday sale) and could not find a place to enter in the info? He tried putting it in under where you put the sales codes but that didnt work... Where does he need to enter the gift card info?

I would suggest so our clearos or cartos are not under warranty unless they are DOA.
Something occurred to me earlier this evening. I understand the warantee and the DOA thing for returns.. I ordered a crap load of stuff.. do I need to fill and check all my nano's and clearos.. and cartos to make sure they work now - the plan was to use a couple til they outlive their usefulness and then use a few more.

"Lithium-ion must be stored in a charged state, ideally 40 percent. This assures that the battery will not drop below 2.50V/cell with self-discharge and fall asleep."
How to Store Batteries – Battery University

You don't want to store a battery that's fully discharged, because the electronics inside still use a teeny tiny bit of charge even when idle. If it goes too far down, something can happen inside the battery chemistry (hah, that's what "plating" was  ) and you can permanently shorten the length of time that they stay charged. (Read that somewhere else, but can't remember where) If I were you, I'd probably still pull them out every month or two (maybe alternate the batches you use and the ones you store).

I don't keep any "put away". But I never purchased more that 2 at a time, and they are spaced out. So, I use them according to how I feel on a particular day...and, as they start to lose their capacity to hold a charge, I replace them. Since I don't have any that are identical, I've got a pretty good idea of the status of each one.

When you're having problems, yes, but not when it's working fine and you're about to store it. And the X2s do take about that long to charge.
