JoAnn, that's all I ever use (VISA gift cards though). You just have to make sure it lets you register with all your info (name, full address - Vanilla VISA only asks you for your zip, which doesn't always pass verification). And if you opt for VISA gift cards instead of reloadables, you won't have to give them your SSN. With reloadables, you'd still have to pay to reload, and the fees aren't that much less than just buying a new gift card. You can buy gift cards in $20-$500 increments for $5.95 and they only work in the US. Expiration date is like 2019-2020, so you have awhile to use them up. Plus, it's a good way to budget your online spending.

Gift cards... This is a much better option than reloadable cards! Thanks Cindy.

I do a lot of transactions online and I use american express for everything. First of all they give a ton of cash back (at least the card I'm on, cash not points). And they also have great customer service.

I have it set up so every charge over $10 I get an email alert. About once every two years my card gets stolen by someone online (I assume). I see the charges come in, I call Amex, they remove the charges and send me out a card with a different number.

This is so far just the cost of living in the online age. I'd much rather deal with that every two years or so than deal with prepaid cards and worrying all the time :)

Edit: I also have a mastercard for companies that don't take amex. Neither have an annual fee, and so far if I have a problem they deal with it quickly and a new card comes in the mail in a few days.

I use the email alert system too...for both online and phone purchases. The alerts hit my email account immediately after the card is used. As soon as I verify charges are mine and the amount is correct I just delete the messages.

I used NetSpend (reloadable) for a awhile, and it was great until life changed and I couldn't keep up the balance/usage. Then the monthly fees started happening. And with cards like those, you really have to keep up with them regularly to avoid fees and fraudulent charges (a lot of the CS is out of the country). With gift cards, easy peasy. Just hang onto the cards until they're used up. No additional fees ever, except for the initial one to buy the card. I don't think you can get the money out at an ATM though, or use them outside of US. But you don't really need that feature anyway, right? ;)

I'm putting this in the ask Imagine thread but anyone else that wants to chime in is welcome.

Has anyone mentioned a T3 just coming apart in their hands? I went to pick one up this morning and the top part came right off. Mouth piece and the top chrome part.. no leaks.. no melting tank (a minty flavor is in that one).. T3 mini.. new one that I just got.. lovely lil purple baby.

I'm wondering.. what's the thought on gluing these things back together and is there a glue that one would use for such an endevor?

Sitting down, facing forward.
Opal, I haven't had one come apart but it may be possible to glue it back together using a "super" glue. The thing to look out for is a good seal, as in air tight, between the mouthpiece, body and air tube. If there is the slightest leak in those joints, it will leak liquid out the bottom or top depending on which is higher. Maybe a silicon based adhesive, like aquarium adhesive would be a better choice since it wil fill gaps better and is "fish" (human) safe because it doesn't leach volatiles.

Yo Imagine...........I just received a USB wall adaptor for my USB charger and it is a small cube shaped plug. The old one that I have (which I got with my start up kit) is more of a rectangular affair with a little red light on it. It started to arc out and is past warranty, that is why I ordered a new one. Seems to work but as I said, it is a smaller cube shaped plug with No light on it. It also gets a little bit warm (not hot) while charging as the old one didn't. Did you all just change suppliers or did I get the wrong thing??

In about a week
Thanks, Imagine, for the points. I ordered my X2, and am expecting it early this week. :p My coffee flavors need to be in something that stands up to heavier use. I am already planning my next order. 8-o When will you be getting the next shipment of T3 clearo heads?

Imagine... any idea when SI will carry NicQuid's new Peach Lemonade? I notice that NicQuid has it available on their website but I want to place an order with SI for other supplies and just want to get an idea when it will be available.
