Hello Imagine! Just a couple questions.
Glad I got my X2 worked flawlessly. Just one thing I noticed with the cone adapter I added on. Without a carto it screws all the way down, flush and no issues. when I have a carto on it, I can't screw it down very far leaving a large gap between the carto and top of the battery. Is this normal?
Also, I noticed the website said to only charge the X2 with the USB passthrough cable provided. My question is can you still use that cable but have it plugged into the Wall adapter or is USB the only way to charge those?

Thanks!

I don't think that is normal... just let CS know about that.

As far as charging yes you can plug the cord into any USB port or adapter :)

Awesome, thanks Imagine. Knowing it is supposed to go flush, I just put a lot of brute force onto it for it to screw down. I just didn't' want to strip anything if it wasn't supposed to go down that far. I can live with this though, just difficult to screw down over a carto but I'll live. I don't need to trouble you guys with something so small. SI rocks in my books.

optics, i haven't tried the SI cone yet, but I know with other *go type cones you can dremel out the small end (not the threaded end) to be a little wider. sometimes just the paper label on the carto can make it just a bit too snug....but a dremel works :)

and thanks for the possible sale heads-up imagine...i don't have any children but a lot of people call me a mother... :)

no worries seems the threading just wasn't sanded enough... should wear in over time.. if you want it replaced just let CS know and they can ship you a new cone on your next order :)

no we do not sell the adapters.. our main goal is to be newbie friendly...and be as less confusing as possible that is why our entire line is compatible ... that being said.. you can get them at a lot of places that sell the 510 you will need an 808d-1/901 to 510 adapter
Imagine I did not see a 510 adapter on your site - do they make them. I want to use my X2 on some of my 510 gear instead of it gathering dust...

Ego cones were too tight on some cartos. I used to turn them upside down and rub them for a while on either sandpaper or a knife sharpening stone to loosen them right up. Too tight and they can sometimes make the draw stiff. If a carto draw is to airy you can cut a small ring from a condom with scissors and slide it over the airways and still get the cone on. Totally adjustable to suit yourself.

I can totally understand and appreciate that, but I got some dust collectors that just need to be used and then not repurchased and I would rather use them on my X2 than go out and buy another battery from a different vendor - adapter should be cheap enough...
