That's unfortunate :(

I've just bought 60ml of SI juice. It would make more sense to me if I could buy it in one bottle, it might save me some money too :)

Some dude buys a 60 ml bottle. Dumps the whole bottle on himself and calls some schleprock attorney. Then files suit against smokeless image for distributing a toxic substance. Judge decides that SI should have sold it in a smaller bottle or SI settles out of court for some undisclosed sum.

I hate parasites in our country. :)

I am guessing that is why the bottle has a small cap as well.

Imagine, I am getting what looks like condensation on the contact point of the battery. This happened on cartos and clearos and I have cleaned the threaded end of the battery several times, blown out the air hole on the carto and clearo, religously cleaned the contact side of the carto and clearo and when I unscrew the battery after a few hits, there are little tiny, tiny, tiny droplets of some liquid on the the center contact point of the batt.

I dont know if this is what is always did, I just started seeing it, if it is just harmless water vapor and normal or if I am doing something wrong here. Any ideas?

yes it sounds like condensation.... the sealed connections should prevent any harm... but a good idea to keep them clean when you can like you are doing to prolong battery life and performance.

Part of why we had so many RMA's with the unsealed batts... unless using prefilled cartos this is bound to happen from time to time.

Thanks - I thought it may be since it is water vapor I am pulling on. When I change over, I will just wipe it off.

What is going to be the difference of the old CE3 and the new one?

p.s. love the products so far! I have sold two or three people on your product (but I feel cheesy asking them to follow my referal link). You keep selling it, I will keep buying it!!

Imagine, I need inside info on RMAs: my X2 charging has gotten flaky when used as a passthrough. In SI's experience, is it usually the connector on the X2, or the cable that goes bad?
Charges fine when I don't touch it, and I don't really use it much as a passthrough, so not worth returning - just curious...actually, if it's the connector on the X2 that usually goes bad, I might...if it's the cable, I won't...

My original cable did the same thing... after while the plug wasn't as snug (hey I'm a poet) and had to jiggle it "just so" to get the connection and then it would charge - and I tried to not even breath in it's general direction. Happily, when I got the new X2 it came with another cable and that one fits snuggly on both batteries. For now.

well we have more Ce3 coming that are the same...however the new version that will be named something else will not require syringes :p

The condensation you are seeing is a result of vapor left inside the air tube as you vape. It gets heavier if you treat it like a regular cigarette, IE no hands operation. For example, if you do vape with no hands and watch the exhale in a mirror you'll see some wisps of vapor come out of the air vents at the battery/cartridge joint. The same thing will happen any time you exhape with it in your mouth, needless to say. It's a good idea to wipe off the battery and cartridge, any type, whenever you change them.

The current CE3 has to be filled using a blunt tipped syringe. It's really not much of a task at all, in fact it's faster than dripping liquid into a conventional cartridge. The new version, coming out soon (PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!) won't need a syringe to fill them and will be available in a larger capacity for the X2 as well. Since they are "bottom coil" they provide a cooler vapor which many find much more pleasant. Of couse, the amount of vapor and the taste are "better" as well when compared to a standard, fibeer filled, cartridge.

Hello.

=)

Is it true that SI stuff is compatible with eGo threaded stuff?

Thanks!

(And, BTW, I like the syringe. Much neater and easier; I use it to fill everything now.)

Some SI batteries are compatable with Ego style thread systems, specifically the tanks style systems will thread onto the X2 series batteries, 650, 900 and 1300mah. It does take some adjustment of the center posts to get things firing properly, but it is easy to do. The advantage of the SI batteries is that they are regulated at ~3.6 volts which provides a consitent output until they need a recharge. The smaller batteries, 65 and 78mm are also regulated the same way, but are 808 thread and are only comaptible if an adapter is used. Check the videos by MrOutlaw for more detailed information.

I think a syringe is neater, too. It also allows you to monitor exactly how much liquid you're putting in to a poly filled cartridge far better than guessing by drops.

Yup, yup. Superior in every way.

You are clearly a person of great good sense and uncommon perspicacity.

Now there's a word that no one uses anymore! On the other hand, mybe a little over the top given my current state of mental capacity. :)

Just my :2c: here. I still love using my original cartomizers, especially for SI's "bacco" type flavours. Plus, I'm still using ones that came with my kit 6 months ago...quick drip, no leaks, no hassles...
I'm using the new gadgets but not liking the syringe that much, sooooo looking forward to seeing the "new stuff" ...another shopping spree weeeeeeeeeeee:D

I'm still using them too. They are just more... I dunno... reliable? easy? I bought just 1 clearo and it lasted thru several refills and a few cleanings, but after the last cleaning it started leaking. Was nice while it lasted though, but just for home use where I could keep an eagle eye on it. Didn't trust it to carry around.

Then when the CE3s came out, I chose to pass on those since they require a little more effort. Figure I'd wait a few weeks (cough) for the newer ones, then wait and see what the consensus was on those before I tried one.

Other nice thing about cartos is they blend nicely with the 78mm, so at work people think I'm just carrying around a pen and nobody gives it a 2nd thought. But with a CE3 on it, it would stand out and draw unwanted attention. I feel very very lucky to be able to stay at my desk and not have to run outside constantly to get my fix.

Will the new "thingys" be able to be cleaned? And are they coming in stock when the Ce3s do? Before I stalk the mailman I need to stalk the SI site....
