Imagine. I hope SI keeps the X2 clearomizers when the T3's come in. Love the top coil and warm vapor. They are more portable than the T3 and sometimes, smaller capacity is better. Don't misunderstand me, I also want the T3 in addition to the clearo.

When buying the X2 clearomizer, we can choose the color but not choose round or flat tip. It only comes with the round tip. If we want a flat tip now, it has to be ordered separately. Some people are not aware that the flat tip is currently available because the choice is only under the X2 clearo replacement tip. Can this change be considered in the near future?

I understand that they may be produced that way but when buying why would it be a problem to have a second drop down box for the buyee to have the option of choosing round or flat tip? The round tips aren't glued on.

I believe they come from the factory preassembled with the standard round tips. And aren't they plastic wrapped? To opt for the flat tip, they'd have to open up the plastic wrap, disassemble the round tip and screw on a flat tip (another person with their hands on your merchandise). It's a drag for the few that prefer the flat tips, but I think maybe it's better that they just sell the flat tips separately.

Hey Imagine, you've said that charging the batts when they are not all the way discharged will not reduce their lives. If they get 300 full charges they get 600 half charges, right? Because I'm having a really hard time telling when my batts are almost needing a charge, I'd rather just put them on a charger every other day, but not if it will decrease their long term life. How does that work again?

You should be fine. Battery life seems to be affected more by the total amount of charging time rather than the number of times you connect it to a charger. Four ¼ charges are about the same as one full charge. IMHO Volt batteries should give some indication of how much charge is left. It’s real easy to lose track of how long you’ve been using a battery.

Sitting down, facing forward.
There is evidence that charging a lithium based battery prior to it actually needing to be charged can increase its useable lifespan. There is not way to quantify this effect due to the number of variables such as how heavy the discharge rate is, how long they are discharged and the temperature (both ambient and battery). A lithium based battery can be damaged by leaving it on a charger after it is fully charged. It is "best practice" to remove them from a charger as soon as is practical once they are charged. Both of these effects are due to the chemical actions that occur inside lithium batteries. If you'd like more technical information The Battery University is a good resource.

Just my opinion, worth what you're paying for it, your results and mileage may vary, no warranty or guaranty is expressed or implied.

that pretty much correct :) if they are exactly 50% depleated.

hi Imagine :)

I was just looking at the various starter kits on site and have a couple questions. Can the batteries in any of them be the holiday candy cane batteries? That selection isn't on the drop down

Q2 - is the PCC an open unit? No cover? I see the mega unit seems to have a cover to hold a batt in while charging

*buyers remorse.. should have gotten one step up on starter kits for the go chargers...

I don't think I'll be really satisfied until I have at least one of everything (except yellow batteries.. don't like yellow)

oopsie.. 3rd question
will using the 1.5a wall charger hurt the 78mm batteries? I just noticed that it says they're for the passthroughs
