Can't remember where I saw it, but in one video the guy was removing it by slapping the mod against his opposing palm.

Removing the batteries is a real pain! The battery is super tight on those sleds. Anyone have suggestions on removal? I cant't get enough leverage and grip with my fingers.

Mr plink you have a logo one right? Maybe the ones that say hana on the screen when fired after sleep will fire like the real dna?

Maybe the reason for the double click is the extra chip flash they did to remove hana from the screen?

Nope, no logo model here.
Said it before and I will say it again, I would pay more for a none logo if I had to, because I think the logo looks fugly. Even if I had an original I would prefer it sans logo.

After you get the battery out wrap a Pease of tape around it and leave a little extra to make a tab so u can just pull it out

Well, after just 6 days...my cana mod is finished.

Won't read ANY atomizer at all. Nothing. First all that popped up on the screen was the battery gauge. Then after about 20 minutes of that, it went all haywire and started blinking with check atomizer. And now it's done. An effing paperweight. Realllllllly ...... right now.

As long as I don't hook mine up to an inline volt meter and just vape it turning to power up or down as desired I am more than happy with my Cana. I'm still trying to determine battery life (efficiency)
I agree! as long as you are satisfied with the vape that is all that matters.

Unscrewed my Nautilus (filled with menthol), and put my Aerotank Mega on it. Clicked the fire button to make sure the ohms were right...thats when the screen went black and all that was showing was the battery icon. About 30 seconds after that it just started blinking with "CHECK ATOMIZER" and it kept doing that for a couple of minutes until I unscrewed the back panel and took out the battery. After I put the battery back in the full screen popped up with watts, battery, ohms etc. Then I tried to screw on every tank system I have and everything keeps reading "CHECK ATOMIZER". I just gave up after a half an hour of fiddling with it.

Just some info. Bought from Wet-Vapes. Color is silver. Battery was a VTC5. Last known ohm reading was 1.6 (nautilus coil). Wattage was set to 10.7

i just received an email from illvapes in a reply to me asking about my refund, i told them about how some people think they just changed the status and didn't actually send the refund telling him how some people is already past the 10 business day period, i warned him if it becomes 10 days i will do a charge back... his response was he tried to call me and to call him back at said number.

what i dont get is if your already emailing me, why have me call you? if you have something to say then just say it, why the extra step... maybe he wants to tell me something "off the record" where i cant copy and paste to the bank... its just one headache after the other with these guys.

Since this thread is so active and posts get lost so fast, I think something I posted several days ago should be repeated in part, as I don't want to see a lot of folks lose money. It appears *some* are being appeased by Illvapes, but there are probably still many in a bad situation. I beliieve this simply because I keep hearing so many contradictory statements from them!

Previous post:

"Although I feel for Illvapes being a small business owner myself, I would be requesting a refund, giving the customary 3-5 business days for a posting, and then initiate a chargeback. The customer email today appears (to me) to be an attempt at damage control to stop the financial "bleeding" they are seeing with the refunds. If they can they can hold out with your money (until they file chapter 11), you will wait a very long time (if ever) to get it returned. It's not a huge amount of money for many, but keep that in mind no matter how strong your loyalty to Illvape. Remember, they (and a few others) did some dumb things too- If it were my business, I would have *never* advertised a 1:1 clone WITH authentic logo from an American company, on U.S. soil."

I apologize if stating the obvious, but have you replaced the battery and tried that?

I just did an experiment with mine. I let it sit for an hour after about 15 minutes of chain vaping. Hit the fire button lightly and it needed a second press to fire. I again let it sit for another solid hour after 15 minutes of chain vaping. I then pressed the button VERY firmly and it fired on first press! Seems like it could be a safety thing?

Could you have moved around the internals with the VERY firm press?
