The best I have come up with the size of the bottom ring is 10mm OD, and 1mm thickness. I maybe off a bit since I was measuring a ring that was already used and therefore enlarged a bit.

FWIW: me, myself, and I wouldn't order a 10mm o-ring for there..not yet anyway :)

Time will tell..Like I said above, my mini are running the second one from the smallest..(this is just a test)

Finally fixed the seapage from the bottom plate of my FT 4278000. It's not sufficient to just tighten the center pin. I found a hex socket that fits the inner plate (with AFC in the middle) and it was not tight at all.

Tightened it up real good while holding the block in place with tweezers, however I managed to bend the deck collar out and had to squeeze it back to shape with pliers 'cause it wouldn't clear the tank opening.

Thought you did that awhile ago..that o-ring might need an upgrade as-well..seems to happen on a few, even when tight..

No- didn't have a proper tool to tighten it 'till I found one in my wife's tool box. They really ought to include a little socket wrench with these (I don't think they do, even with the authentics). Would be much more useful than that stupid little screw driver- just about everyone has a little screw driver. Bone dry so far....

They don't include it. I used my 5 mm socket--works fine.

I put a 316L SS coil in my Tobeco before going to sleep last night. I think it's a 9-wrap, 2.5 mm ID, spaced coil that came in at .94 Ohm.

I'm getting great flavor from it today using TCR 92 at 450F, 30W on an Evic Mini. I'm getting a little bit of gurgling though - could be my coil is a little too close to the airhole.

My logoed Plus from FT CP was tight. I used a jewelers screwdriver to hold the block in place and neednose on the CP nut. Twas tight already. O-rings are lubed and I've a 28 g, 2mm, 8 wrap, RH coil ready to go in. Movin' along at the speed of Molasses here. ;)

Oh and mine is the SS CP model.

Was still getting seepage after tightening things up. Checked this o-ring today and it looked perfect, but replaced it anyway. We'll see....
Hi magicmyst, I have also tried to tons of solutions. The easiest way was to simply put a thin piece of cotton in there before putting the bottom plate on.

I haven't had any leanings since, and I simply replace the cotton every time I change my coil. I hope that helps!

Thanks! 12+ hours, and no seepage yet. May have actually been over tightened to the block. What a P.I.T.A. for the KFM to have to wear a "mini pad", but if nothing else works....

Has anyone contacted FastTech for support lately? I did so 6 days ago regarding some missing o-rings, and they have totally remained silent.

Fairly common complaint right now, no explanation, a fair bit of conjecture, but nothing solid. Unless your on the VIP list they are currently very slow.
