Holy ****,
Holy ****,
I'm still messing with my cotton in mine. Still don't know if more or less is better??? I will try Rayon and Ekowool some day. What's the ID of your coils?
I found more wick (rayon) works better. I'm using 3mm ID, spaced 28g Ni200, .10Ω. I built my sister's KM3 with a 1.3Ω, 3mm ID, 28g Kanthal micro coil stuffed with rayon and it works great.
What I noticed is that you need to leave at least one of the juice holes clear of wick and the side slots shouldn't be blocked by the wick. I've been trying some really thick juice (80/20?) and I haven't had a dry hit yet, even while chain vaping it.

When I got my first 2, I built one with more rayon and one with less. The one with less couldn't keep up with chain vaping. Since it's in TP, I just got less vapor but if I let it sit for a few mins, it works like normal again. The one with more wick, like stuffed to the chamber walls, it kept up until the atomizer was very warm.I'm still messing with my cotton in mine. Still don't know if more or less is better??? I haven't really got it nailed down yet either. Sometimes, I get one loud pop when I first hit the button, then it's silent throughout the draw, that's when it's right. If it's sizzling and cracking, it's not as good.I'm still messing with my cotton in mine. Still don't know if more or less is better??? I will try Rayon and Ekowool some day.
Yeah??? I'm finding the crackling is making better flavor so far. Not 100% sure but I think it is. I've been trying so many different things and it has all given me flavor. Some more than the other but I'm still not staying with one build yet. It's an adventure for sure with these.I haven't really got it nailed down yet either. These ARE perfect. They are working great with every wick and wire sizes I have used so far. I'm just playing with them trying to see what will work better. I want to try temperature control builds with these also. I'm getting SS and the other types of wire also. These rta's are the best ones I've used so far.@ricks I thought the benefit of these was not to have to worry about a fuss that wicking and all of that worked very well without having to get everything exactly perfect
I've gotten it with tight coils also. I think it has to do with how much wick is used in the coilThe popping and cracking is from using spaced coils.
Someone mentioned that they got the Aromamizer v2 from VapeNW so I went to look at the price since I ordered one from FT and saw they had the Tobeco version. The last time I ordered from them was a couple of years ago and they shipped fast and had great prices. The Tobeco version is less than what FT was charging for the black one I ordered ($15.50). The Aromamizer v2 is also cheaper than FT even with the MAP code. I should get my order (black KM2 and Aromamizer v2) this week and if I like it, I'll order another pair from VapeNW and report back but it might be a couple of weeks.Look forward the reviews on this one. Kayfun Mini V3 by Tobeco $14.99 No long ship time.
yes found it this morning too
I also have these effects only in spaced coils...but I like that...it feels to me like turboI've gotten it with tight coils also. I think it has to do with how much wick is used in the coil
