Just looking at the tank, I can only count 9 o-rings. Anyone have a different count?
That's the same kit I found earlier.
Attack of the (Kayfun Mini V3) Clones!
No idea how accurate the measurements are.

I do have 2 of my 6 kayfun mini v3's leaking a little bit, which they was fine before, so wonder if it is down to the orings.
So far so good with Ekowool. Going to give both tanks a day or 2 to see how they work. I always used it in my KF4's.
I still have room in my survival pack..
Is the answer going back and trying a KFv4, haven't even looked much at them.. heard too many parts and backwards JFC..
Or drag out the KFL nano I have stored.. or just wait..
So many choices..so little time..

4 Pieces of 2mmPictures or it didn't happen?![]()
4 Pieces of 2mm
IDK, I wrap the 4 pieces in my fingers before mounting it to the base. It is 4x2mm id??? LoLCoil ID?
Nah, I tried sub ohm and didn't like it. Not enough flavor for me that low. I'm using 30g kanthal and it's at 1.8ohms. Going to try SS and TC next.Ricks you be rocking into the sub-ohm next.. what's that one 1ohm?
I got 28 in SS. Need to get 30 also to try.SS in voltage here...not going the TC route (yet).. Got my 30g and 32g ss in.. going to see how it works out, when I get time
Or drag out the KFL nano I have stored..
So a 2mm is working better than a 2.5? I've always wanted to try that. I'm using a 2.5mmFinally figured out a coil/wick that's working great!
Not so much, yesterday: Had 28g, 2.5mm, 1.5Ω in both the plus and the regular. Was getting dry hits (followed by the telltale long death fizz) on the plus, and was not seeing air bubbles. The regular V3 had muted flavor, but no dry hits.
Today I put new 28g, 2mm 1.5-1.6 Ω coils in both. When removing the old wicks I noticed that there was a lot more wick in the wells than I thought, even though I thought I had just inserted enough to touch bottom, But cotton does expand. Today I cut the wick ends shorter, frizzed them out with a hat pin, and very gingerly inserted just enough to touch bottom, and not at all stuffed or crammed.
The result? Both tanks are producing beautiful, full-bodied flavor, no dry hits and regular air bubbles! I'm a slow learner, but after a lot of "What if I try this" and "What if I try that" I believe I've finally found the build and wicking method that works great for me!![]()
