Hey guys, I could use your help. I bought the 316 stainless one everyone raves about on fast tech. It is a good attie, but my main grip is that its flooding inside the airflow control. Every time I fill it, even with the juice control shut, when I open it and vape, I hear the whistling gurgling sound coming from the air holes and sometimes juice might leak out.. If i roll up a tissue and stick it in the air holes u can see its soaked with juice. Its not a flood thats leaking out like crazy but juice keeps getting in there and it ruins the experience when you hear the whistling gurgling and sometimes even some leaking out of those holes.. Any ideas for a fix or why this is happening?

I am having similar problems with leaking inside the center post. Other than condensation, the best I can guess is liquid dripping down the hole from the wick. Or else from the wires that connect the coil to the screws. They sometimes partially cover the hole. Juice can then run from the wick on to the wires and drip down the hole.

I think its something faulty , its too much liquid and it happens soon as I open the juice control. It ruins the experience for me otherwise it would be a great attie.

I haven't read your other posts, but have you checked your O-rings? Sometimes they are faulty, shot or need to be lubed.

Im not sure, they seem ok, maybe i will replace them with the replacements or try and get authentic o-rings. I always had the feeling that for 13 dollars this thing wouldn't be problem free.

I just got the cheaper Mini V3 Plus from FT and the airflow seems to be very restricted compared to the Mini V3 I bought from 3F. I've opened up the airflow as much as I can with no success. Should I just remove the airflow screw altogether?

Finally got around to building the SXK version I got a week ago (Been busy trying to get good builds on the 4278000 and the Plus.) The deck screws on the SKX are crap: they tend to spit out the wire (28g) even if you're holding the wrap nice and tight. The screws (or the screw holes) also don't screw in tight- they tend to back themselves out. Major P.I.T.A. I swapped the screws with some replacements from the Accessories Pack, but still had trouble with one of them. Aaarg! Took me 1.5 hours to do one build, and I don't trust it to hold the wire securely.

So the SXK one is a crappy one?

well here is an update,, I can have the juice flow control completely shut, and fill the tank and it still starts gurgling and getting all leaky even without opening up the juice flow control. Any ideas? probably the o-rings?
Yup. Can't think of anything else. If it's not the o-rings, your unit is probably faulty.

Sounds like some faulty o-rings to me. Replaced the 2 on the base and see what happens.

That sucks to hear. SXK version for me works great. Hold all the mini claptons and 26ga fine.

I had the SXK version and it worked fine and then gave it to a friend. He had a misfortune to drop the mod with the atty and guess what broke - not the glass, not anything - but the center post screw that threads into the positive deck somehow.
As for Kayfun clones, they all kinda need the accessories changed with the authentic ones, its a small price to pay for better Orings and screws.
