This is it! I've had it! Enough with the Danged Snow!

That's an image of what I see looking out my window. I pressed the camera against the window so it was just peeking over the already 10" snow drift on the outside window sill....

Just because some woodchuck in Pennsylvania wakes up on a specified day, see's his shadow, and says "screw it, 6 more weeks of winter" doesn't mean we should have to put up with it! It shouldn't have to snow EVERY DAY!

We have to take our climate back! I say next year we put something over his hole to block the sun! Anything! A tarp, build a pavilion, set his clock back 3 hours so he gets up before the sun even rises.... I've had it!

Just sayin

Thanks, everyone. I went ahead and got the Tobeco one. I actually forgot I was using a Tobeco kayfun Light Black Version 3 or whatever, and I've had no problems with it. Hope I don't get a dud.

v4 looks amazing. Glass tank, no more draining, etc. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I have 2 Tobecos, Stainless and a Black one and both are perfect. Paid $21.50 for both on ebay.

Grew up not far from u, K2. Also had it with that friggin woodchuck, moved long ago & never looked back.

HaHa... Soon Light Seeker, soon...

Did you hear about Buffalo's 7' (That's Seven with an "S") snow event this year? Missed us here by about 15 miles (edge made it to Batavia).

The company I work for is based in Buffalo and they were shut down for the entire week. There were people trapped on the NYS Thruway for over a day.

Yup. Grew up in Alden, so have old school buds still there and scattered all round the B'lo area. Seen lots of FB snapshots, many comparisons to the blizzard of 78.

Sitting on my patio, probably 70 right now. Frigid winter [emoji12]

Keep on vaping. Maybe we can add to the green house effect and help get warmer temperatures.

I drilled the juice channels to 1/16", all four of them. That's about 1.6mm. Used ye old metal fingernail file to debur under the lip on the bottom side.

It is helping.

Now I have bubbles as I vape on a full tank. Small and few but they are there finally. As the tank lowers, sharp primer puffs help now too.

No need to loosen top cap.

After letting it set, all I have to do is make a couple primer drags and it's back to bubbles and chain vaping at sustained 16W.

Hasn't flooded or leaked yet. Will go through a few tanks and a couple different wicking methods and see how this does before I mod any further. At this point I'm thinking 2mm maybe in its future.

Love the idea. Now excuse my lack of metal drilling knowledge, but I have some good drill bits laying around and a good drill of course.. Is there anything special I would need? Probably a vice and/or a drill press I assume? My father in law has a press. Is a special drill bit also required?

This is the first real idea I've seen that could actually help me out. I will say that even after primer pulls with the wick nice and saturated it was basically the same or lower quality vape than my lite+ which I've been happily enjoying for the last week. But I did like the top fill and the ability to get at the deck without draining. (I'm a mouth to lung vaper and don't need wide open low ohm stuff...)

I recommend cobalt, unless you want to consider your drill bits disposable. :)

I know, it's because of the surface tension associated with high viscosity and those small deep juice channels.

Well yeah drill press is best. But I did mine by hand. Too blasted cold to go to the shop. Have to be very careful though if you're not used to precision hand work. You could snap the bit or drill through your hand. V4 mounted to a threaded stand in one hand and bit in a dewalt cordless in the other hand. Slow rpm, light pressure, watch the bit and let it self guide don't let it bend, didn't even use tap magic like I normally do. No issues. The bit is important I like cobalt for SS.

This stuff really works. If you're going to be doing a bit of this, pick some up, stuff is incredible.

This stand.

This bit.

Though a HSS bit should work too I just like good USA cobalt bits when it comes to SS.

But hold off cause I'm thinking I may need to go to 2mm, I'll know on next build/tank. There is just no easy way to get under that lip and chamfer the edges to aid bubble formation. So only thing left is bigger hole. But you can go too big. This build I laid and packed the Rayon as I was afraid it would leak. Not even close to a flood. I'm going to try the touching build with these larger holes first. It should work like it does for others running a bit of PG. We'll see.

Just hold on, it will be. Weather man says freezing all the way to central Florida. Should hit you in about a day at most. Supposed to be in the teens here in S. E. Virginia by morning.

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!
