Temporary schtemporary, it might work better than a new o-ring. The sizing is always such a problem, a fraction of a mm too fat or too skinny and it's a miss. So check the rubber for nicks first and cut those off with a razor so they don't catch. Then try dental floss under your existing ring, or maybe a fine strip of plumber's teflon tape, those might be a real solution.

The seeping that occurs after filling, when you open/close the juice control platform, is to some degree inevitable, IMHO. You're pushing/pulling on the whole juice+vacuum+surfaceTension apparatus. If I look inside I find there's always a coating of juice down in A3 - so what. You can turn the KF on its side, let the little puddle gather and suck it out an airhole, boy that sounds degenerate. If it's just a smear, I just wipe it, toss the Kleenex, and go back to the rigorous business of living da life o' vapin'.

Not sure what kinda dental floss you guys are using, but before I ordered at least 10 of every size imaginable of o-rings from the o-ring store I i tightened mine up with some dental floss my wife had bought that was a flat ribbon an fit in the o-ring well great, laid flat and worked good to until the new o-rings arrived.

Kayfun V4 repair kit:

I've seen the 3-pack linked... but here is a single repair kit for $1.76 from FT.
I'm getting some other stuff, so putting this in with the order as I have no spare o-rings.
https://www.fasttech.com/product/2095702-spare-parts-kit-for-kayfun-v4-rta-atomizers
Saw that.... But wondered about quality.

K4 clones, any brand, are overall excellent with 1 exception.... O rings. Replacing with perhaps the same orings doesn't seem like a fix.

Then again, few pennies added to an existing order is a no brainer [emoji3]

Yea, something as a backup is better than nothing.
But I didn't get any replies to this:

I don't have spares *gasp*. From what I gather the replacement is: 15mm*12mm*1.5mm (or is it 11mm*1.5mm ?)
Also wonder if 1.6mm width might actually be best?

I've seen Dwcraig talk about using a 12mm rather than the 'stock' 11mm.
Was wondering if 1.6mm width might actually be a better size...
However, really no issue here so long as I lube before hand. Time and wearntear could change that though.

I ordered both 11 & 12, wound up replacing my 1 weeper out of 3 k4s with the 12.

Worked, so didn't think anymore bout it [emoji3]

1.6 mm is to big, If you want bigger than 12 mm x 1.5 mm go with 12.5 mm x 1.5 mm, 13 mm x 1.5 mm, ect.
Oops, had to correct that!

So tonight I cleaned one up after vaping all the juice, so I could change flavors. I'm using a 2.8mm coil, and I packed more Japanese cotton in it than ever before, to test it. This thing is working great and man, is it ever sucking down the juice now. Glad I mixed up 135 mls of DIY juice tonight.

135 mls? Guess you've got your ADV done. What's the flavor?
I'm still mixing 5ml at a time with the occasional 10ml that's getting closer, ha.
Rebuilt coil yesterday for first time in awhile - 3.0mm (2.0ohm)with less JOC than usual to mix things up : more TH and V - less F ?
Thinkin' I like the 2.4mm (2.0ohm) and more cotton better - more F less TH/V.
Guess next build I'll try low ohm...

I like simple flavors, mainly the fruit flavors and a few bakery ones. Tried Capella's juicy lemon a couple of months ago, and I was hooked for my ADV. Tonight it was 3 different flavors with the majority of it, juicy lemon. I usually like to vape 2 or 3 different flavors a day, but most of the evening, it's the lemon. Right now though, I'm vaping green apple.

Capthook knows where its at, TFA style. Y'all need to go check out the TFA thread in the DIY forum and try Bills Magic Vapors recipes. They all work right away, not even any steeping needed other than a good shake for a few minutes..

Sorry if this has already come up but what's up w/the "Kayfun V6 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (5ml)"? ETA there's also a silver stainless model like the black one for a more reasonable price.

What do you mean, " what's up with the"?

My opinion of it is that's its pointless. Its a kayfun lite style atomizer that takes Atlantis coils. The rba head still has kayfun lite airflow through the center post, so the larger air intake and chimney become a moot point when using it.

Why anybody would want such a thing is beyond me.

Lets just call it a Kanger Subtank or Aspire Atlantis that looks like a Kayfun, good for folks that don't want to build coils..........I guess.

Nice catch, the AFC looks exactly like my Kanger subtank. That's a crazy hybrid. Kayfun body, Atlantis coil and a Kanger Subtank AFC.

I went and looked at the entire thing. Can someone tell me what the coil is added to the package for, I can't she how it's used.
