To be fair, there are a lot of people that are using them w/o issue. I just couldn't get it to work. Could be because the were clones but I had the same issue with both clones from different manufacturers. I've built over 30 coils and wicks to try to make it work but just couldn't.

The KF v4 has been perfect for me, which is why I have so many. They're the only tanks I use. I have a few drippers to taste different juices but the KF v4 is on every mod I use regularly. I have all set up with the glass center section and I don't have to worry about "tank cracker" juices or the tank getting cloudy. This set up also allows me to see how much juice I have left w/o guessing like the KFL+ in the same config. I think they look great and vape great. It basically comes down to having a tank that I can use daily w/o too much maintenance. Yes, there's tons of parts to this atomizer (41 to be exact) but in day to day use, it's extremely easy and convenient to use over a KFL+ or other atomizer. The only time I had to break it down to 41 parts was when it was new and needed to be washed. Top filling is awesome. AWESOME. You can get to the build deck w/o draining the tank too.

Never had a single problem with my erlp and I use it 24/7 since October, 15th 2014

I have dropped it, stepped on it, leave it lying on its side during the whole night at least twice a week and it never leaked a single drop.

Maybe I'm lucky but heck, that atty has paid itself off at least ten times since I bought it.

Regards
Tony

Just what i needed to make the decision easier , two entirely opposing viewpoints from people who have had a lot of experience with the item i was inquiring about.

Hate when that happens, anyways it's much appreciated gentlemen , probably just get another Kayfun V4 .

I know. Erls can be tricky, especially clones. I wanted the nano because I liked the from factor, but that ship had sailed. If you don't care about the size, the Erl clones at FT are quite good and many people like them.

Need more conflicting opinions?

My experiences have been documented in that thread.

Mine has 42 :)
Probably because you have a clone :p

Doh my tobeco seized up on me tonight.
How? The JC can get tight but use a small allen wrench in one of the air holes and you can loosen it easily. You can also loosen the 510 screw to help. With ni200 builds, you need the 510 screw tight. I tighten mine while the JC is loose, not at either end of open or closed.

The K4 is great. My 2nd favorite RTA.
Good flavor. Easy to build.
The Erlk is my favorite. Wicking is a bit more specific.
Done in a reasonably correct manner, it works great and doesn't leak.
Wicked like a Kayfun = trouble.
(Keeping my K4 dry on the other hand requires constant maintenance)

Why not , i can't see it getting any worse for me . Could always rely on Katya to remind you it's actually much worse than you think it is.

You sure?

Read this post--and weep!

Mu apologies to the OP for the off-topic tank recommendations. It won't happen again.

Hmm... Um... Err... ;)

Don't be ridiculous Katya , i appreciate all info , i love off topic stuff .

As a matter of fact if it wasn't for me swaying way off course on a regular basis and talking about stuff not even remotely close to what the OP asked about i would barely have any posts under my name.

I've been using a Kayfun V4 SS 316 clone from Gearbest for about 3 weeks now. It's been flawless. Kayfun V4 Style 316 Stainless Steel Electronic Cigarette Atomizer-22.36 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com I've not adjusted or replaced anything in it other than coil and wicks. Using 28 gauge kanthal 1.8 ohms and cotton wicks on a Sigelei Vmax at 7 watts.
Three weeks to receive it with free shipping to the states. I highly recommend it.
Well as much as I'm enjoying my GearBest K4 clone, reading here about the Tobeco K4 clone deal from Vapor Range, I bought two. I received them in less then a week, cleaned and coiled and wicked. How do they sell them that cheap. They are pretty darn nice. Best $20 bucks I've spent in a while.

It was actually #26 stuck on #5. I couldn't get it even with my rubber coated yard gloves on. I had to vice grip the evaporation chamber, and put a little allen wrench in the UC middle section to loosen it up. It'll be fine, not sure how it got tightened down so much, it was odd.
