Yay glad to hear the Tobecos from Artemus are moving along! Mine is also in Georgia. Estimated delivery date is Saturday. That'll give me all weekend to clean and compare it to my FT, which has been pretty great so far.
Mine wasn't bad actually. I took apart the top cap/tank/base and just soaked em in dish soap, and scrubbed em with my coil cleaning toothbrush, for about an hour and the faint oil smell was gone and I was vaping away! No way I was gonna take apart the whole thing haha!!
Its the only one of my clones I had to clean.. Both my Infinites (KFL and Magma) didn't need it at all.

ETA 1/17. Two and a half weeks to deliver.

I will never buy anything else from Artemus/Custom Mod Creations ever again. F*&k them.

Yup. I learned very early in my career that in dealing with clients, if you lie to them that is all they will remember. It doesn't matter if things ultimately work out, the lie is the lasting impression. If I don't know an answer to a legal question, I tell folks that I don't know the answer but I'll research it and get back to them. If I make up some B.S. and they find out, I then lose all credibility. It's just not worth it to B.S. your customers.

Sweet! I really didn't like what I had to do to get the oil out of the FT clone. My wobbling problem is back but it doesn't bother me enough to tear it apart and fix it. It still vapes great and doesn't wobble with the juice control open.

I'm not sure if he lied to us, but it was definitely poor communication. I might order from him again since other products seem to go out faster.

I wasn't in the best of moods when I posted that but I still stand by it.

I think I'm a patient guy and was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt but I was skeptical when I received an e-mail from them saying they sent out a bunch last weekend and more this week. The fact that a bunch of us got tracking #'s last friday but no updates until tonight proves they lied. It was understood (at least by me) when I ordered on 12/31 that it would ship on 1/5. It did not. It shipped out 1 1/2 weeks after it was supposed to ship. I got my FT "A" faster and that came from China.

I like to give the small guys a chance but not only was this unreasonable, I was lied to. They're dead to me.

So its decided, I've got to use this tank when driving only. I've gone through 15ml of juice from 12pm to 9:15 pm.
Dripping on an rda at 0.3Ohm at 65w on my Ipv3 I make 15ml last a day and a half to two days.
Since its not saving me any juice and actually making me use more I may just sell this thing and get a Kanger sub tank for driving. at least it will be closer to dripping which I prefer.

I have to say I'm very disappointed, I was hoping with the Kayfun4 they were trying to improve a pawn past design and gain a new following but I was wrong.
Imop my Competition Doge! v2 has better flavor. even with its massive airflow.
Wile it is a nice device, if your not a Kayfun person the V4 is not going to do it for you. I'm not any more happy with this Kayfun than I was with the Kayfun lite I got and sold almost immedatly 8 months ago.

I've noticed that as well. Since I can't vape in the office at work, I just walk around the block a few times. Within 10 minutes I'm down to half a tank on the V4. Granted, I'm running a lower ohm coil but I'm surprised at how fast I go through juice, especially considering I don't get as good of a flavor as compared to my RDAs.

The fact that he told another buyer "it was the post offices fault they weren't checked in" sealed it for me. Sorry but when you drop off a package at the post office, its scanned BEFORE your transaction is even done. Ive done plenty of buying/selling over the last 15 years online (im a musician, were just as bad as vapers haha) and you don't get your receipt even until its all logged and finished. There is no way these were dropped off last week and sat there on the sidelines not being processed.. All he did was print up shipping labels at Stamps.com which doesn't mean crap other than "oh here's a nifty number for you"..

There's gotta be something up with that. I just topped off my half tank that I last filled last night and I am a chain vaper!

I think its just a matter of the build on the KF4. What works for one person will not work for another. The device is very good in the fact it can adapt and work for a higher or lower Ohm build. Just for those of us that are willing to take it to the lower side of sub Ohm it may not be the device were looking for if the goal is to conserve ejuice.

Anyone know how to tighten the draw on these. Trying to mouth to lung on my FT type A is basically impossible. Its tike the S4 kit came with it stock (I'm assuming how the S4 is supposed to be used). Should have the Tobeco version in a day or so to compare...but dang ..I think the tighter draw on the 3.1s enhances the flavor by creating more vacuum on the wick (pulling more liquid) .

Is your airflow screw tightened all the way down? Could you maybe put a little bit of cotton in the #3 bottom cup inside the airholes in the #3 ring? The only problem I can see with that is the cotton could get in the way of the juice control ring/threading.

Take out the 510 connection screw and inside there is a tiny screw. Tighten it until the desired pull.

Thank's ricks...I was taking the air screw into consideration. It almost seems like the draw tightens when the air screw (actually a set screw) is run out (counter clock-wise)... but you can't seat the firing pin (at least I can't) in it's nut when is turned out.

You have to tighten it. Clockwise. That will make the draw tighter.
