I'm having bit of a problem with my Tobeco V4 :( I,m having a wicking problem, after I refill the tank the wick dries up and I have to change it:( It's a real PIA
bin happening for a few days now I took it all apart and every thing looks good. This one has me stumped why would it just stop wicking?
I have 5 V4 clones now all working good except the Tobeco, what an irony I went out of my way to buy a Tobeco cause of all the good reviews and now it the one giving me grief.

That's strange. Did you take it all apart and check all orings and make sure all passages are clear? Seems strange to have a problem owning 5 and only having issues with one of the best ones.

I checked it out really good all the O rings look fine all the passages are clear I just don't know whats up with this one It worked good for a long time. Now all of a sudden this dry hit thing.
IMO the Infinite is the better one :)

How high are you filling it. How thick is your liquid in that one? On my 2 Tobeco K4's I use 100% PG liquids(Very thin) and I fill them to above the Counter nut(#33) and never a problem. This sounds very strange to all of a sudden start having an issue.

Try it with the JC closed, thats what worked for me when the dry hits came from no place, it sounds like it shouldnt work and may not for you but thats how I run mine from now on, closed to vape and open to fill

I use 60/40 VG/ PG I fill it the same as always to the nut. Funny thing when I change the wick I remove the bottom with out touching the JC
Then I have no problems till I use the JC to fill it. I have noticed a bit of juice down were the spring is I just changed the O ring on the square nut will see what happens now :)

I will give that a try right now I'm willing to try any thing
Thanks

I KNOW ! it is backwards and shouldnt work!! but thats how mine has been for maybe a week now, I dont understand it, when I refill not a drop is spilt, its a Tobeco, I twist clockwise on my mod until the base stops, closed, with drip tip up or I can hold both and twist counter clockwise and remove coil and all

Next time when you refill, take a few hits with the 4 air holes blocked to give it a good priming.

Wub. Here's a build. Used 2x 2mm drill bit side by side. 28ga Ni200, came out to 0.14 ohms

Difference: I actually don't know if it's much different from my regular builds. But it does wick really really well tho! Not much diff in flavor or vapor production tho. Im slowly converting my builds to this to see if I can notice a difference. Still new to it! I like it just because I have less wires hanging off from the airhole.

And im using a tobeco. No mods whatsoever :)
