That's not the function of the resistance setting for a mod. You're just covering up a bad connection issue. Either the 510 or the atomizer.

One of the reasons I'm not all that thrilled with the VT75 nano is the 510 isn't as reliable as it should be and not a good design to begin with. I haven't had any issues with it yet but I am leary of it. The 510 on the SMY didn't look all that great either.

Back to your issue, I'd try taking it apart and putting it back together and make sure all the o-rings are in place correctly. I've taken a few of my KF5's fully apart and had no issues with any of them (6 in rotation).

Thanks for your input, but I'm afraid you're wrong. It acted that way on all of my mods, not just the SMY.

As soon as the outside temperatures came down a bit my mods read the resistance just 0,01ohm from what I had set it too manually and it works normal again. So it must have been the hot weather that caused it.

I seem to have a bit of the wobble in the tank now. Vapes fine, but my OCD with these kind of things is kicking in. Any ideas on how to correct this?
Change o-ring 10 & 11, use 12 x 1 mm for #11 and 11 x 1 mm for #12 and perhaps don't open JC as many turns. Might take care of it.

I have a question. I just got a kayfun v5 clone and it is exactly what I was looking for. No problems with it so far. However, do you close the juice flow at the end of the night? I don't want to have a puddle of juice on my mod in the morning.

This is my first rebuildable tank. Thanks in advance!

I close my kayfuns when I'm traveling with them in my pockets, or when I'm not using them.

Same for me. Unless I know I'm not gonna use it for a day or more I just leave them open unless I'm transporting them. Never had a problem so far :)

Thank you everyone! I did close it last night as I wasn't sure, but I'm glad to know it isn't necessary except for filling. I will probably close it when I travel as well.

I really am impressed with this tank! I was having troubles with too much air flow with my RDAs but this is perfect! Exactly what I was looking for. But dang on the O rings they are everywhere on this tank! Any idea where I can get spares? I'm thinking I might lose a few and the spares that came with the tank might not be enough.

Thanks! I just looked over the diagram and another question arose. I have the SXK V5 mini. The full size might be too big for my Pico. The mini fits it perfectly. So are the O rings the same size? Sorry about all the questions.

The full size V5 is only 22mm it will fit perfectly on your pico (you are talking about the eleaf istick pico, right).

Yes I have the eleaf Pico. Love the size of it. The base of the mini almost touches the battery cap. Hmm I wonder if the full size is just taller?
