Should we do more then one round of faxes?? I am willing and a boot for the daylight hours : )

Also, anyone have any idea when it will be voted on again?

If you use it. You can continue to use the ecig. This law as it it currently written does not ban personal use. I am pretty sure about this.

For Retailers in NYS of said product, will have 90 day to liquidate all inventory and once 90 has passed the bill is law. Any offense or violation of the law can result to the tune of 10,000 per offense.

You can still buy this product but not in NYS.

To the first question - a resounding YES! Pester them until they can't stand it any more. (And so tell us the bill is going down the tubes).

As for the second, no. At this point, it still must be scheduled for a Health Committee meeting. We are watching, however, and any movement or news will be posted for sure.

OH and Jay I read it as anyone selling/mailing ecig to NYS could be fine 10,000 per offense.

UPDATE:
1.The Senate bill is still in the hands of the Health Committee.
2.The bill is NOT on the schedule to be discussed today.
3. We have written confirmation from several senate offices/officials stating that it won't be discussed today
4.The general public is not allowed to speak at Health Committee meetings without an invitation
5. The Vapers Coalition has members going to Albany on Wednesday and Thursday of this week to meet with Senator Klein's attorney and with other key players to discuss the bill, attempt to get it amended to only ban sales to minors and possibly get an invite to speak to the committee.
6. It may be on the schedule next week, but we won't know for certain until it's posted on Friday.
7. Keep writing letters, faxing and calling - especially to Senator Klein's office!!!
8. Don't bother emailing - no one is reading them - but they are paying attention to calls and letters!!
9. The Senate doesn't close until late June, so we have to watch this weekly until then or until the bill is amended.
