So you're saying that the US is likely to go to war with China? I can't even imagine that, as it seem like it would be mutually assured economic destruction for both countries. Our economies seem so intertwined.

No one said anything about it being acceptable to sell them as the real deal. This has been stated many times. I agree that they could easily not include the creator's logo, but I'm not going to go out of my to find a clone without it.
I did not see anyone in this post defend putting logos on clones but I guess I might have missed it.
Not defended, as its been answered the other way already... Why it needs to keep being brought up is beyond me.
Ok well I must have missed anyone directly addressing this but I am fairly ADD and might have missed it.
It's because this topic has been beaten to death and there is absolutely no legal protection against copying a piece of equipment that does not have a patent, trademark or copyright.
This is just a circular subject that never come's to an end.
Just people throwing stones.
Bottom line is there is no way to stop it, it's about supply and demand with price point being a big factor. Leave a void and someone will fill it and everyone saber rattling won't change a thing.
And I own both and some clones are every bit a well made as the original. I would have the authentic but the manufacturer wasn't producing product. I won't wait because someone has a bad business plan or a lack of funds.

IMO I don't think most consumers set out to buy clones just based on price alone. I believe that we all try to find an authentic but as most of you know, they are ALWAYS out of stock. Sure you can find authentics out there but are they any good? Or is that the particular mod you were looking for?
Hate on the Chinese all you want but if you really think about it, 90% of everything in your home comes from china.
