Argh...fricking gov't!!! "The children, the children, the children"...no offense but I'm real tired of that. If only the gov't would concentrate on real problems/issues...but no, mention children and we have a shark feeding frenzy. As ex-smokers now vaping we are still the target.

All the reason to DIY. I think there is still plenty of time for folks to stock-up on flavors they enjoy, nic and VG/PG. It will be interesting to see how the flavor shops fare if/when they do this. I vape unflavored and flavored DIY...and my stock is healthy for years to come.

Sorry for perpetuating this off topic item.

I do have a question for any of you who has both nKFL and the Prime.

Are the build decks the same size?

To me, trying to judge from pictures, it looks as though both build decks are approximately the same size.

I'm thinking if they're same size the build should be the same...transportable from the Prime to nKFL.
The deck is exactly the same. I took a caliper to both and it's the same...chimney looks the same as well and if it isn't, it's so close it's hard to tell. I use exactly the same build in both, 26gk, 6 wraps, 2.38mm rayon..

an interesting wicking technique...

I think the end result is the same. Once it's in the channels, he kind of unravels it and once its juiced, it's really the same in the end. It's just how he gets it there I suppose. He does a curling method instead of the lift and place method....this is the hair curler method

Thanks Vapdivrr!!! Appreciate it. I kinda thought if someone has a build they like in the Prime you can do the same on the nKFL and you should be fine.

I do think , or maybe I'm imagining it, that the vape is slightly more intense in the nkfl. Maybe it has a slightly bigger TH or perhaps its slightly warmer? I have only had it a couple days now, so more vaping needs to be done, but that's what I'm feeling in this first tank. So although I have the same build, I adjusted my wattage from 22 (that I vape in the prime) to 20 in the nkfl. Could just be the juice flow too. In the prime I adjust it to 1.5 turns and if I go more then that, the vape intensifies slightly, so perhaps it has something to do with that..
