Stacking batteries to run high voltage can be risky. So can driving a car. Certain safety measures should be taken in order to minimize those risks. When vaping HV, use protected batteries, and a device with some sort of venting feature. Keep your batteries in pairs, and carry them properly. Treat the device with the respect it deserves. When driving a car, wear your seat belt, and pay attention to what you and others are doing. Life is full of danger. Some accept the risks, and others don't. It should be up to the individual to decide. I hate talks of "banning things". Dunno... just rambling I guess. E cigs are still very new, and I'm sure safer and safer technology will be developed along the way. Cars now have airbags, special glass, crumple zones etc.. You get the picture...

I do vape at my own risk, choice...I feel it's my "right" to do so.. I dont like being told I cant do something.. I understand the risk..i know the downside...And i still " choose" to vape

Hell, if we were not risk takers, we never would have started smoking tobacco in the first place... LOL
That post is lacking in what can happen. A normal E-Cig from China could be more dangerous than mods built by people in the US.
At least with mods built in the US we know what kind of battery is in them. Good luck trying to get the Chinese to tell you what kind of battery they are using.
Also normal E-Cigs have popped in the past. That post over looks that normal e-cig batteries have popped. They also don't have a review panel for every little thing that comes out of China.
The thing they should even worry about more is liquid on the market. Even then tho ECF does not sell anything.

I am very much a risk taker myself, but I think it is good that there will be some safety protocols in place. Just think of the field day organizations like ASH would have if somebody was seriously injured by a PV
Banning mods makes me think Big Brother. I have no problem in making sure that there are enough warnings and encouraging safety standards, but to ban (or even suggest such) outright seems to go beyond the scope of this or any other forum.
I wonder if maybe we should just toss the batterys after a specified time of use. I have some batteries that I've been recharging for months upon months.
Now, im wondering if maybe after 2 months of use, i should just exchange them for new ones.
Any thoughts on this ?

Although I agree with 99% of your post the 1% i disagree with is, that most all batts come from china......So the problem lies with in the Chinese manufacturing.....And before anyone starts saying that TENERGY is made in the USA.....FALSE!!! Tenergy might be a USA based company BUT the batts are manufactured in china.....Just look at your Tenergy batt.....And you will see it clearly states made in china.....
Yup, my Tenergy batteries are MADE IN CHINA... and the company doesn't seem to respond to emails with serious questions about their products.... go figure...
I guess we are spoiled with companies like Altsmoke, where they actually respond, provide a phone number, and give a rats ... about their customers

I absolutely love your product. I think it's the best thing I've ever tried thus far to cease that nasty habit that i was doing for 30+ years.
I choose to do this..i love it...and I won't stop. ANd, i want that OMeGa when you get them going.
I'm just going to have to be more cautious about the batteries I'm using. I think possibly exchanging them more often than I have been, will satisfy my worries about this whole thing.
Nothing is entirely safe in this world. Nothing. We all know the risks here. We have read them...we know the warnings about using unprotected batteries.. We are adults and I choose to make my own decisions in life. When someone else starts paying all my bills, i might (MIGHT) listen to what they have to say.

I have some ive been recharging since i started 5 months ago....im tossing them. I have new ones in the wrapper im charging now. Also, im vaping with my new AW's...love them...but i have about 3 packs of Trustfire Red 18650 batteries im going to use for now.
